Emergent AI is an American vibe coding software company based in San Francisco, California. It was founded in 2024 by Mukund Jha and Madhav Jha. It provides software that allows users to use natural language prompts to automate software development.[1][2]

In April 2026, Emergent introduced Wingman, an autonomous AI agent intended to perform tasks across messaging and other software services.[6]
In September 2025, Emergent received $23 million in funding round by Lightspeed Venture Partners.[7]
In January 2026, the company received $70 million in a Series B round led by Khosla Ventures and SoftBank Vision Fund 2,[8]with its valuation reported at $300 million.[4][9]
Emergent known for autonomous software engineering systems and work on the SWE benchmark, for evaluating the ability of AI systems to resolve software engineering problems. Forbes India reported that Emergent's system reached the top position on the benchmark in 2024.[2]
In February 2026, company clamed that platform had more than six million users and its annual run rate revenue exceeded $100 million, figures were reported by TechCrunch.[10][11]
On 7 July 2026, Forbes India reported Emergent AI latest funding round by Creaegis, approximately US$130-million, and it became a unicorn with valuation of US$1.5 billion.[12]
The investment valued the company $1.5 billion and brought its total reported funding to $230 million.[1][13]
