EazyProject[1] is a project management and time registration software made in Denmark. EazyProject is based on cloud-computing technology. The software can be used for project planning, time registration, budgetting, resource planning and invoicing. EazyProject or EazyProject AS[2] is a software firm located in Roskilde, Denmark. It became part of the Swedish company Bjorn Lunden in 2022.
History
[edit]EazyProject was established in 2002 in Roskilde, Denmark by Kenneth Larsen and the official registration of EazyProject happened on 24 March 2004. The purpose of the company is to sell software as a service (SaaS) solutions business to business in Denmark. For eight years from 2010 to 2018, the company operated under the name EazySoft AS[3], and was renamed to EazyProject AS on 22 August 2018.
In June 2022, EazyProject was acquired[4] by Swedish software company Bjorn Lunden International AB. The deal was included in Nordic-software reports as an add-on acquisition by Bjorn Lunden, supported by Main Capital Partners[5]. Main Capital Partners had invested in Bjorn Lunden in July 2021 and eventually included it in their portfolio[5] of financial-administrative software. In 2024, EazyProject announced[6] alligning the corporate branding would allign with the Bjorn Lunden branding strategy. The name EazyProject has continued to be used under the brand umbrella of Bjorn Lunden.
Software
[edit]EazyProject is a software as a service solution which is cloud-based project management and time registration. The tool was originally intended as a complex project management system for project-based companies such as architects, engineers, consultants, public institutions, municipalities in Denmark. The functionalities include project and task management, time registration, resource planning, project budgetting, vacation planning, reporting and invoicing. The software can be used on desktop or as a mobile app[7], for functionalities such as mileage and expense management.
Implementation for Domea
[edit]In 2017, AlmenNet issues a report [8]about the implementaiton of EazyProject into a digitalisation and organisation plan at Domea.dk concerning property management operations. It should be noted that Domea.dk created 20 service centres where digital task planning and resource management were implemented for the purpose of reorganisation of the property management activities of the company. According tot the report, EazyProject was used as a support tool for these processes in service centers. In order to meet the needs of Domea there were necessary several modification in the softeware. The report also mentions EazyProject being used as a management tool for monitoring key figures, for resource allocation and for other operational activities.
