D.Solutions is an operating holding company of the DTEK Group, established in 2019 as part of the reform of Ukraine's electricity market. The company specializes in electricity and natural gas supply, energy efficiency, and the implementation of energy solutions for residential and business customers. D.Solutions' main brand is YASNO.[1]

History

[edit]

D.Solutions was established in early 2019 as part of the reform of Ukraine's electricity market and the unbundling of electricity supply and distribution functions. The company brought together the electricity suppliers Kyiv Energy Services, Dnipro Energy Services, and Donetsk Energy Services, as well as energy efficiency businesses.[2]

In November 2019, D.Solutions began operating under the  “YASNO” brand. The brand brought together electricity supply, energy efficiency solutions for households, as well as solar panels, energy storage systems, energy audits, energy service solutions, and energy management.[2]

In January 2022, Serhii Kovalenko became Chief Executive Officer of D.Solutions, succeeding Abdullah Koksal.[3]

Operations

[edit]

D.Solutions' main business is the supply of electricity and natural gas. Companies operating under the YASNO brand serve residential and business customers.[1]

Another operating area is the implementation of energy solutions, including solar power plants, energy storage systems, and energy management systems. [4]

In 2024, YASNO entered the full-cycle solar power plant installation market, providing project design, equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and subsequent monitoring and management.[4]

In 2026, D.Solutions introduced the “YASNO Power EMS” energy management system, designed to monitor and manage energy equipment. The system combines data on electricity generation, storage, and consumption and automates the management of energy resources.[5]

RISE

[edit]

In June 2025, D.Solutions joined the “RISE” initiative (''Resilient Independent Solar Energy''), launched by DTEK and British company Octopus Energy Group. The initiative aims to raise €100 million to finance 100 local projects involving the installation of solar power plants and energy storage systems at Ukrainian businesses and public-sector facilities over a three-year period. The projects are implemented by D.Solutions under the YASNO brand.[6]

In June 2026, DTEK and Octopus Energy Group announced the creation of a joint venture to scale up RISE and mobilize financing for solar and battery storage projects in Ukraine.[7]

[edit]

The legal entity LLC "D.SOLUTIONS" was registered on 11 January 2019. Company registration number (EDRPOU) is 42750685. The company's primary business activity is electricity trading. Serhii Kovalenko is the company's Chief Executive Officer.[8]
