The film achieved a historic milestone for Nepalese cinema by becoming the first production from Nepal to win the Best Film at the 62nd Asia-Pacific Film Festival.[1][2]Building on its success, the film went on to earn further international honors at the 59th WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival[3][4][5][6], where it received the Platinum Remi Award for Best International Feature (Low-Budget) as well as the Gold Remi Award for Best Director. It also won several awards at major film festivals[7][8][9][10].
