Corsearch is a global intellectual property (IP) services company that provides services for brand creation, clearance, and protection.[1] Corsearch operates in three main business areas that include trademark screening and monitoring, brand protection and content protection.[1]
History
[edit]Corsearch was founded in 1949.[2] For a period, the company was a division of Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services, focusing primarily on trademark research and clearance.[3]
Ownership
[edit]In 2018, Corsearch was acquired by Audax Private Equity, which separated it from Wolters Kluwer, establishing it as an independent, standalone entity.[4]
In April 2021, private equity firms Astorg and Cobepa acquired Corsearch from Audax Private Equity.[5]
