From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ryan McGee (born March 29, 1985)[1], known professionally as Caulkdraggin,[2] is an American digital creator and horror filmmaker based in Mount Airy, North Carolina.[3]

Career

[edit]

McGee gained an audience through found-footage horror and creature-focused short videos on TikTok, often combining live-action footage with digital techniques.[2] Business North Carolina reported in August 2026 that his videos had received more than 70 million views and profiled his move into longer-form horror filmmaking, including Skinwalker Island: The Lost Tapes.[3][1]

In September 2026, CineDump reviewed McGee's short horror film Daphne, describing it as a progression from his viral horror clips into short-form storytelling.[2]

McGee's short film Don't Stare received an honorable mention in the Best Silent Film category at the Absurd Film Festival's August 2026 awards[4] and an honorable mention in the same category at the Monza Film Fest.[5]
