Carabao Group Public Company Limited is a Thai food and beverage company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand under the ticker symbol CBG. It is associated with the Carabao Dang energy-drink brand.[1]
History
[edit]The group was established in 2013 and became a public company before its 2014 initial public offering.[1] Its chairman, Sathien Setthasit, has described founding the group after work in the beverage business with the Carabao brand.[2]
Business
[edit]Carabao Group produces Carabao Dang energy drinks and has expanded into other beverages. In 2023 it announced a 4-billion-baht investment in local beer production.[3] Cambodia was reported as its leading export market in 2015.[4]
Sponsorship
[edit]Carabao is the title sponsor of the EFL Cup, which has been known as the Carabao Cup since the 2017–18 season. In 2026, the sponsorship was extended through the 2028–29 season.[5]
