Breni
[edit]Breni is an artificial intelligence-based personalized learning application built on principles from cognitive science, motivational psychology, and gamification.[1]. It was founded in 2025 by Abubakar Sadiq Umar and Bilal Abdullahi[2] in Kano, Nigeria.
History
[edit]Abubakar Sadiq Umar and Bilal Abdullahi previously worked at Kayi, a Nigerian financial technology company, where Umar served as a senior business analyst and Abdullahi worked as a software and artificial intelligence engineer. During their time at the company, they developed an interest in the application of artificial intelligence and technology to education[3].
