Botcha Anusha (also rendered as Botsa Anusha in some media reports) is an Indian politician and physician associated with the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in Andhra Pradesh. In September 2026, she was appointed as the YSRCP coordinator for the Bheemili Assembly constituency.[1][2]
Early life and family
[edit]Anusha is the daughter of Botsa Satyanarayana, a politician who has served as a minister in the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi, a former member of the Lok Sabha.[3]
She completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree before becoming active in politics.[3]
Political career
[edit]Anusha began participating in YSRCP political programmes and constituency-level activities in Cheepurupalli. In July 2026, Samayam Telugu reported that she had become increasingly active in party activities in the constituency.[4]
In August 2026, Botsa Satyanarayana announced that Anusha would contest the forthcoming local-body elections. Reports stated that she was being considered as a candidate for the chairpersonship of the Vizianagaram Zilla Parishad.[5][3]
Her proposed candidature for the Zilla Parishad chairperson's position subsequently figured in reporting about political developments within the YSRCP in Vizianagaram district.[6]
On 18 September 2026, the YSR Congress Party appointed Anusha as its coordinator for the Bheemili Assembly constituency, following the departure of the previous constituency coordinator.[1][7]
On 19 September 2026, The New Indian Express reported that Anusha addressed a YSRCP constituency-level meeting in Cheepurupalli.[8]
