Balu K is an Indian advocate and politician associated with the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK).
Early life and education
[edit]Balu K studied law at Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai, and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (B.L.) degree in 1996. Election affidavit records describe his profession as a practising advocate at the High Court of Madras. [1]
Legal career
[edit]Balu K has practised as an advocate before the High Court of Madras. His professional profile states that he has worked as a senior advocate associated with the Madras High Court since 1996. [2]
Political career
[edit]Balu K has been associated with the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK). He contested the 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election from the Jayankondam constituency as a PMK candidate. [3]
In the 2021 Jayankondam Assembly election, Balu K received 94,077 votes and finished as the runner-up to Kannan Ka So Ka of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. [4]
