Ayla Dumais MLA is a Canadian politician who has served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (MLA) representing the electoral district of West Vancouver-Sea to Sky since 2026. She is a member of the Conservative Party.

Early career and education

Dumais attended the University of British Columbia, where she pursued an undergraduate degree with honors in political science. She went on to work as an intern in Ottawa in the office of the Leader of the Official Opposition under Pierre Poilievre in 2024.[1] Following her internship, she served as a policy and stakeholder relations advisor to Poilievre's office.[2]

Political career

In September 2026, Dumais ran as a candidate for the BC Conservatives in the 2026 general election running in the electoral district of West Vancouver-Sea to Sky.[2]

Personal life

Dumais is a member of the Prophet River First Nation.[1]
