Athbi Ali Shehab Ahmad Saleh (born 14 October 1993) is a Kuwaiti professional footballer who plays as a winger or midfielder for Kuwait Premier League club Qadsia and the Kuwait national team.
Club career
[edit]He joined Al-Yarmouk (Kuwait) in 2015 and he won the 2018–19 Kuwaiti Division One title with the club.[1] He won promotion with the club as the league runners-up in 2020–21.
He then joined Al-Salmiya on 17 July 2022.
He joined Qadsia on 12 June 2024 and scored two goals during his first season with the club as they finished in third place.[2]
International career
[edit]On 21 June 2023, Saleh made his international debut for Kuwait during a 3–1 win against Nepal during the 2023 SAFF Championship.[3] He scored his first goal for Kuwait during a 4–0 win against Afghanistan during 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification on 21 November 2023.[4]
He also played at the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup.[2]
