Alwin Roshan (born 14 October 1992, Kannur, Kerala, India) is an Indian magician and mentalist. He is recognized as the first Indian Magician multiple Guinness World Record holder in the category of magic. He has been active in the fields of magic and mentalism for more than 19 years.
Biography
[edit]Alwin Roshan[1] was born on 14 October 1992 in Kannur district, Kerala, to Solomon David Mark and Anitha Melepad. He developed an interest in magic at the age of eight. Between 2004 and 2006, he studied magic independently through various books. In 2005, he performed on stage for the first time. Later, in 2007, he received formal training in magic at the Magic Academy, Thiruvananthapuram.[2]
Active in the field of magic since the age of eleven, Roshan has been performing for more than 19 years across numerous stages in India.[3] He regularly performs at children's programs, school shows, corporate events, trade shows, and festivals.
Popularly known as "Magician Guinness Alwin Roshan",
he gained international recognition after securing multiple Guinness World Records in magic fist time in indian magician.For the first time, a video of an Indian magician is being shared on social media by Guinness World Records.[4]
In 2025, he received the National Veer Ratna Award from the Tretayug Foundation for his contributions to the field of magic.
He currently serves as the National Treasurer of the Guinness Record Holders Association, as well as the State Executive Member and Kannur District Secretary of the Malayali Magician Association.
Alwin also conducts classes and training programs for students interested in learning magic.
