The 2027 Bathurst 12 Hour (commercially titled 2027 Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour[1]) is a planned endurance race for FIA GT3 cars and invited vehicles, staged at the Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, planned for the 14 February 2027. It is planned to be the opening round of the 2027 Intercontinental GT Challenge.

2027 will see the debut of paid Thursday testing at the 12 hour, as well as being the first running of the race since 2010 without a GT4 class.[2]

Class structure

[edit]

Entries will be divided into classes based on car type and driver ratings. For the first time since 2010, a GT4 class will not be present at the race[3], owing to the GT4 Australia Series getting a standalone round at the track as part of the 12 hour undercard[4].

    • Pro – No Driver Restrictions
    • Pro-Am – For driving combinations featuring one or two FIA Platinum, FIA Gold, or FIA Silver and two FIA Bronze related drivers.
    • Silver Cup – For driving combinations featuring only FIA Silver and Bronze drivers.
    • Bronze – For driving combinations featuring one Platinum or Gold, one Silver and one Bronze driver.
