Cyclohexyl chloride (or chlorocyclohexane) is a chlorinated hydrocarbon with the formula C6H11Cl or (CH2)5CHCl. It is a colorless liquid.
Cyclohexyl chloride can be prepared from cyclohexanol by treatment with hydrogen chloride.[1]
