Cryptotrogus monodi is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae.[1] It is found in Iran.[2][3]
Description
[edit]Adults reach a length of about 14–19 mm (0.55–0.75 in). They are reddish-brown, with a dark brown head.[3]
Etymology
[edit]The species is named in honour of the French naturalist and desert specialist Théodore Monod, who first collected the species.[3]
