Cherntsy (Russian: Чернцы) is a rural locality (a selo) in Lezhnevsky District, Ivanovo Oblast, Russia. Population: 918(2010 census);[2]

This rural locality is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from Lezhnevo (the district's administrative centre), 19 kilometres (12 mi) from Ivanovo (capital of Ivanovo Oblast) and 227 kilometres (141 mi) from Moscow. Ignatikha is the nearest rural locality.[3]
