Request for help identifying a light truck

[edit]

Is anyone able to tell me what I just photographed, please? I know the wheels are unlikely to be original, and maybe other bits too, but the cab looks the way it must have looked way back when. I thought I'd have no trouble rooting through wikipedia to identify it but ... I failed. The badge on the front was a chunky sort of "G" with 2 or 3 thick feathery bits on the back of the letter. The manufacturers' name might have begun with "Ha..." but it was a bit faint and mea culpa I had my camera with me but not my reading glasses. From the look of it I suspect it dates from the 1940s or 1950s, and because vehicles actually on the road tend to be newer rather than older, I guess that means most likely 1950s.

Anyhow, despite the wheels it MIGHT be sufficiently unusual to be wiki useful. Either way, since you did, thanks for reading this and since you have, for thinking about it. If you know what it is, that's even better. Regards Charles01 (talk) 16:09, 19 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
