Carla Ruocco (born 28 July 1973) is an Italian politician from the Five Star Movement who served in the Chamber of Deputies from 2013 to 2022.[1]
Biography
[edit]She is the daughter of Professor Salvatore Ruocco, a renowned cardiologist, and Maria Margherita Maione, an Italian teacher. After graduating in 1991 from the Liceo Classico Umberto I in Naples with a grade of 60/60, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Economy and Business in 1996 from the University of Naples Federico II, graduating with honors and receiving a special mention for her academic achievements.
A licensed certified public accountant, she worked as an auditor at an American multinational corporation, auditing the financial statements of companies, banks, and public entities. She later worked as a controller at a multinational pharmaceutical company.[2]
He won two competitive exams at the Agenzia delle Entrate as an internal auditor and as a tax administration officer. In the latter capacity, he works at the Central Assessment Directorate.[3]
He is currently a senior official at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.[4]
