Cambridgea longipes is a species of Desidae that is endemic to New Zealand.[1]
Taxonomy
[edit]This species was described in 2000 by David Blest and Cor Vink from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]
Description
[edit]The male is recorded at 10.2mm in length. The carapace is coloured light yellow with a median stripe dorsally. The abdomen is pale yellow with dark shading laterally and posteriorly.[1]
Distribution
[edit]This species is only known from the north east of New Zealand's North Island.[1]
Conservation status
[edit]Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".[2]
