Callum Twomey is an Australian sports journalist and television presenter, best known for his coverage of Australian rules football. He serves as the Lead Football, Draft, and Trade Journalist for AFL.com.au and AFL Media. Twomey is widely recognized as an industry authority on the AFL Draft, player talent pathing, and trade movements.[1]
Career
[edit]Twomey joined AFL Media in the early 2010s. Over his career, he has specialized in coverage of the AFL National Draft and trade periods, producing breaking news, long-form profiles, and analysis of elite junior football talent across Australia.[2]
In addition to his written work, Twomey co-hosts the weekly trade and draft television and podcast show Gettable alongside journalist Riley Beveridge. He is also a regular contributor and panelist across various AFL broadcast partners during the trade period and trade deadline day coverage.[3]
Phantom Draft and industry influence

His predictions have noted historical significance for their statistical accuracy in a volatile draft environment.
