Burkaniv (Ukrainian: Бурканів Polish: Burkanów) is a village in Zolotnyky rural hromada, Ternopil Raion, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine.[1]
History
[edit]The first written mention of the village was in 1564.[2]
After the liquidation of the Terebovlia Raion on 19 July 2020, the village became part of the Ternopil Raion.[3]
Religion
[edit]- Two churches of the Transfiguration (1991, OCU; 1995, UGCC, built on the site of an old church destroyed in 1958).[2]
