Bousit, or Boussit (Arabic: بوسيط, romanized: Būsīṭ) is a village in Zgharta District, in the Northern Governorate of Lebanon. As of 2015, it has a population of 198 and the majority is Greek Orthodox. It is well known for being the homeland of Anar El Khoury. [1][2] Located at an altitude of 573 m,[3] it is known for its vineyards,[4] as well as for the cultivation of wheat and olives.[citation needed]
