William Edward Haydock (19 January 1936 – February 2020) was an English footballer who played as a winger in the Football League for Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra, Grimsby Town, Stockport County and Southport.[2] He managed Macclesfield Town from the start of the 1972 – 73 season until January 1974.[3] Haydock died in Blackpool in February 2020, aged 84.[4][5]
