Baccaurea[1] is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Phyllanthaceae. The genus comprises 51 species, distributed from India to Indochina, southern China, Malesia, New Guinea, and the West Pacific.[2] It is dioecious, with male and female flowers on separate plants.[3] Many species produce edible fruits.[4]
