Asuny [aˈsunɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Barciany, within Kętrzyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1]
History

The village was inhabited by Polish people since the 15th century.[2] In 1481, Polish priest Jakub de Coszmi from the Diocese of Płock was appointed the parish priest.[2] As of 1664, Polish church services were held in the local church.[2]
