Andre Relis

Andre Relis (REE-lis; born August 17, 1975) is an American film producer, documentary director, film executive, and distributor. He is the president and chief executive officer of VMI Worldwide and Vantage Media, independent film production, financing, and distribution companies based in Los Angeles, California. Relis has produced and executive produced numerous feature films and documentaries in the United States and internationally, including films distributed worldwide through VMI Worldwide.

Relis began his career in television production before moving into international film sales and distribution. Prior to founding VMI Worldwide in 2010, he held executive positions at film distribution companies including Amazing Films/Highland Crest Pictures, Troma Entertainment, and Vision Films. Through VMI Worldwide, he has overseen the production, financing, and international distribution of independent feature films and documentaries.

Career

Relis began his career in television production before transitioning into the international film sales and distribution business. Early in his career, he worked with film companies including Amazing Films/Highland Crest Pictures, Troma Entertainment, and Vision Films, gaining experience in independent film production, acquisitions, and worldwide distribution.

In 2010, Relis founded VMI Worldwide, an independent film production, financing, and international sales company based in Los Angeles, California. The company develops, finances, produces, and distributes feature films television series and documentaries for the global marketplace. Under Relis's leadership, VMI Worldwide has represented and produced a range of independent films across multiple genres, including action, thriller, drama, and documentary projects.

Relis has served as producer and executive producer on numerous feature films, working with filmmakers and actors on productions released theatrically, through streaming platforms, and internationally. His producing credits include Outlaws and Angels (2016), The Recall (2017), Grand Isle (2019), Arkansas (2020), Wander (2020), Castle Falls (2021), The Last Son (2021), Operation Seawolf (2022), The Price We Pay (2023), Darkness of Man (2024), and Hounds of War (2024).

In addition to narrative feature films, Relis has produced and directed documentary projects, including NWA & Eazy-E: Kings of Compton (2016) and Randy Rhoads: Reflections of a Guitar Icon (2022).
