In Greek mythology, Acarnan (Ancient Greek: Ἀκαρνάν; genitive Ἀκαρνᾶνος derived from ἀκαρνάν, akarnan, related to ἀχαρνώς, acharnōs, meaning a sea fish, possibly bass[1]) was the name of these two characters:
