Aagaardia is a genus of fly in the Chironomidae family.[2][3][4][5] Aagaardia have been found in Northern Europe,[3][4][6] Turkey, Russian Far East, and Canada.[6]
Aagaardia are small flies with the adults measuring less than 2.5 mm (0.098 in) and larvae less than 4 mm (0.16 in).[1][6]
