AG Grid
AG Grid is an open-source JavaScript data grid library used to display, edit, and analyze tabular data in web applications.[1] It supports React, Angular, Vue, and plain JavaScript. The project is distributed under a dual-licensing model consisting of a free Community edition released under the MIT License and a commercial Enterprise edition.[2][3]
The project was created by Irish software engineer Niall Crosby and was first released as open-source software in 2015.[4] It provides features including sorting, filtering, grouping, row virtualization, cell editing, tree data, pivot tables, and integrated charting for enterprise web applications.[5]
The project also includes AG Charts, a JavaScript charting library introduced as an integrated feature in 2019 and later released as a standalone product.[6] According to the project's maintainers, AG Grid is used by thousands of organizations worldwide.[7] The Community edition is distributed through GitHub and npm and records millions of weekly package downloads.[8][9]
