  • March 7 – The bodies of six American soldiers killed by Iranian strikes on an American base in Kuwait are returned to the United States at Dover Air Force Base.[1]
  • April 30 – Nordstrom closes permanently at Christiana Mall after 15 years.[2]
  • May 26 – A judge rules that Fenwick Island does not violate the state constitution by allowing corporations to vote in municipal elections.[3]
  • June 16 – Two Wilmington Hospital employees are shot, one fatally. A suspect, another employee of the hospital, is arrested.[4]
