The 2007 AFF Championship qualification was the qualifying competition for the AFF Championship edition originally scheduled for the end of 2006. It was held in Bacolod, Philippines, from 12 to 20 November 2006.[1] Five lower-ranked Southeast Asian teams competed in a single round-robin tournament, with the group winner and runner-up qualifying for the final tournament.
The AFF retrospectively identifies the tournament as its 2006 edition. According to the federation, technical issues prevented the final tournament from taking place at the end of 2006, and it was instead organised in January and February 2007.[2]

Qualified teams
[edit]The top two teams qualified for the final tournament. Laos won the qualification group with ten points, while the Philippines finished second with nine points.[1]
