Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/People
This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to People. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary, it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|People|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- Note that there are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove links to other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to People.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

Fails WP:GNG. In searching for Jean Saulnier I came across a pianist who won the Prix d'Europe; a French theologian and regent at the University of Paris who died in 1430; and a French engineer born in 1958. All of them have potential for articles. I could find nothing on the 14th century knight. Even if this isn't a hoax, a single offline source does not demonstrate WP:SIGCOV.4meter4 (talk) 22:56, 5 August 2026 (UTC)

I do not see a pass of WP:NBIO, WP:BASIC or WP:NAUTHOR. The available sourcing I could find on Google as well as listed in the article is mainly bylines, routine DUJ office-holder/election mentions, report credits, and quotes in articles about other topics, rather than significant independent coverage of Madhok herself. This claims she has been featured in articles published by Musique Plus and Wired. Neither turned up hits. The only other page I found was this one sentence article from MSN, which isn't even a proper outlet. This is sad, but this means Youssef only passes WP:ANYBIO#1 with her Toronto International Film Festival award. Without clearing WP:GNG however, and the fact this is a BLP means this cannot be kept as there are no sources providing significant coverage. 11WB 💬 00:02, 6 August 2026 (UTC)

Concerns about WP:NOTABILITY per Wikipedia's definition, which is significant coverage in WP:RELIABLE sources. If not enough significant coverage in enough reliable sources, no article.
The sources currently in the article are:
- lovin.co, which seems like a bit fluffy of a local paper in Beirut.
- WP:DAILYEXPRESS, considered unreliable
- Bookingagentinfo, which doesn't provide adequate coverage and doesn't count to notability
- WP:NYPOST, also unreliable
- NK News, which is probably ok and reliable for use here, but is the only one
When I do my own googling for sources, I have a hard time finding other reliable sources that cover Jaggard. grapesurgeon (talk) 13:48, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

She seems notable only for her genealogy (WP:NOTGENEALOGY), like many articles of this sort. Much of the article is hardly even about her, and the only reference mentioning her son's death only mentions her as his mother. - (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
I am Russell Adam Burnham, the subject of this article. I request deletion under WP:BLPREQUESTDELETE. I first contacted the Wikimedia volunteer response team (ticket [Ticket#2026080410000091]), who advised me to nominate the article myself and to disclose that I am the subject. I regard myself as a non-notable, private person.
The article fails WP:BASIC. Nearly every reference is primary or non-independent: U.S. Army publications, DVIDS, a local Scouting district page, my own company's website, and books about my ancestors. The only independent secondary news coverage is a short 2003 Seattle Post-Intelligencer item announcing my award. WP:BASIC states: "Primary sources may be used to support content in an article, but they do not contribute toward proving the notability of a subject." Searches turn up only routine Army announcement coverage and mirrors of this article.
All independent coverage traces to a single event: the 2003 U.S. Army Soldier of the Year award (WP:BIO1E). I have otherwise remained, and intend to remain, a low-profile individual (WP:BLP1E). Soldier of the Year is an internal service recognition, not a "well-known and significant award or honor" under WP:ANYBIO. The rest of the article describes an ordinary military career. I retired as a major, a rank that carries no presumption of notability. My great-grandfather's notability is not mine (WP:NOTINHERITED).
I did not create this article and never consented to it. A notability tag citing WP:MILPEOPLE was added in 2010 and removed by the article's principal author; the concern never reached AfD until now. The page has caused real-world harm: my children have been teased and ridiculed because of it, and it exposes my family to hostile actors. Per WP:BLPREQUESTDELETE: "Unless the subject clearly passes the general notability guideline (GNG) or is a current or former elected or appointed official, editors should seriously consider honoring such requests." I was never an elected or appointed official. I ask the community to honor this request. RussRocka (talk) 03:03, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

This seems to be a textbook WP:BLP1E. His Jeopardy! appearance was not notable, and he isn't even included on j-archive.com, the main archive for Jeopardy! clues and contestants. The only thing he got any attention for was the murder of his wife. There is no other biographical information out there on him. GBooks gave only false positives, and the only result for "Paul Curry" + "Linda Kinkade" was an LA Times article that makes no mention of the Jeopardy! appearance. I don't think there's enough here per WP:NCRIME to warrant moving the page to Murder of Laura Kinkade, as all of the coverage was from 2021-22, and most of it is from unreliable sources like The Sun or Fox News. It does not pass WP:CRIME's threshhold of sustained coverage of the event in reliable secondary sources which persists beyond contemporaneous news coverage and devotes significant attention to the individual's role
. Suggest either deletion or redirection to List of Jeopardy! contestants, although I'm not sure if it would be due weight there. Ten Pound Hammer (they/them) • (What did I screw up now?) 15:35, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

Contains a lot of unsourced and/or dubious information. Of the information with citations,
- 1. I was able to find an entry for Alfred Jowers in the England 1881 Census. However, it lists Jowers' birth year as approximately 1876, age as 5 at the time, and parents who seem unlikely to have the initials "F.W.". Censuses can have incorrect data, however, there is no source with the birth year of Jowers stated in the article.
- 2. I cannot find an online copy of the 1834-1914 directory, however, there is a copy of the 1834-1900 directory on the Internet Archive. It does indeed list Jowers on page 514 as a RIBA associate.
- 3. No mention of Jowers or the RIBA Silver Medal award in page 384.
- 4. No mention of Jowers or Medal of Merit in https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015024298120&seq=344 page 254].

- Also, It is totally unfriendly and against WP:BEFORE to dismiss legitimate citations as "AI hallucinations" without even evaluating them. Making assumptions about an editor's work in bad faith instead of conducting the necessary due diligence before submitting a deletion suggestion is inappropriate. As the architect of St. Matthew's Church in Ealing Common (Grade II listed, Historic England Entry No. 1413693), the subject satisfies WP:CREATIVE. Small citation errors should be routinely cleaned up under WP:PRESERVE, not carelessly nominated for deletion based on conjecture. Kennerth28 (talk) 08:20, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Kennerth28: I have evaluated 4/8 of the citations and determined they are not legitimate per the reasons above, and I would not consider them as “small citation errors”. With a significant amount of unsourced and/or unverifiable information, it is difficult to conduct a cleanup without significantly rewriting the article. I also noticed you first created a draft at Draft:Alfred Jowers and then created a main space copy while the draft was pending review. This is discouraged per WP:AFCREVIEW. In this current state, I think it should stay in draftspace to improve until it is ready for mainspace (deleting this mainspace article but keeping the draftspace one, although that is currently nominated for MFD). TruenoCity (talk) 15:00, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- Keep The subject satisfies both WP:CREATIVE and WP:GNG. Alfred Jowers is best known as the architect of St Matthew’s Church, Ealing Common, a Grade II listed building (Historic England List Entry No. 1413693). Earlier versions of this article contained formatting and citation errors. The subject’s baseline notability is evidenced by the architectural legacy he left behind, which is documented in independent, published records such as Historic England and the Directory of British Architects 1834–1914 (Brodie et al. , p. 1018). WP:PRESERVE says: "Minor factual discrepancies should be cleaned up, not deleted. Kennerth28 (talk) 08:09, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
KEEP- Under WP:PRESERVE and WP:CLEANUP, if an article has gaps in sourcing or weak citations, the right approach is to fix those issues, add tags to flag what needs work, or build on it gradually, not just get rid of it entirely. Deletion is only really appropriate when a subject simply doesn’t have enough inherent notability to warrant an article at all. Since Jowers’ place in British architectural history is clearly established, this article should stay in mainspace so it can be improved over time. Futhermore, Per Wikipedia’s WP:BEFORE guideline, any request to delete an article calls for a full, careful review of all its sources. If you’ve only checked half the references you’re looking at and openly say you haven’t looked at the rest that falls well short of what’s needed. It’s not right to dismiss the remaining sources just by guessing they’re unreliable, instead of actually checking them; that’s not how our deletion rules work especially when there is independent reporting about the subject in question. Kennerth28 (talk) 11:31, 3 August 2026 (UTC)- Kennerth28, you have !voted twice, and need to remove one. Lamona (talk) 16:32, 5 August 2026 (UTC)

- Kennerth28, you have !voted twice, and need to remove one. Lamona (talk) 16:32, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
- My stance would be to draftify to allow for it to be improved until it is ready for mainspace. However, there is already a copy in draftspace at Draft:Alfred Jowers and therefore would not follow the regular draftify. The main concern is that it significantly contains unsourced and unverifiable information, and therefore would require significant research and rewrite than a cleanup. Of the information that have citations albeit at least half of the citations being invalid, I determined that was a significant concern; it takes a lot of volunteering time to look online for a copy for each historical offline source. TruenoCity (talk) 17:43, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- Comment I left this on the talk page: The "transactions" - As is often the case, the identification of journals (of the past, especially) is complex. There is a v.4 that looks to be 1875 (MDCCCLXXV), and a v. 4ns (ns=new series) that is dated 1922. I do not find Jowers listed in either, although presumably he would be listed as a member. He is not. The citation needs to be re-checked. Thanks. Lamona (talk) 16:32, 5 August 2026 (UTC)

- Keep. I’d like to contest this nomination and respectfully disagree with the assessment that no significant independent coverage exists.
- Now I acknowledge that some of the initial sources were company adjacent, however, there is meaningful third-party coverage of Roger Michalski that demonstrates notability:
- 1. Trade press coverage
- Inside Radio, an established broadcasting and media industry trade publication, quoted Michalski directly in an August 2025 news piece covering Salem Media’s business expansion as editorial coverage of an industry development. [https://www.insideradio.com/free/salem-media-pushes-beyond-radio-with-new-investments/article_40836415-bbfb-45b3-b4da-89ef3a276d88.html]
- 2. Independent interview
- In March 2024, Michalski was featured as the subject of a dedicated interview on Liberty Ventures, an entrepreneurship platform hosted by Alexander McCobin, where he discussed his career trajectory and business philosophy, coverage entirely independent of Eagle Financial Publications. [https://www.libertyventures.xyz/content/top-financial-newsletter-editor-shares-the-ins-and-outs-of-the-business-roger-michalski]
- 3. Multiple SEC-filed press releases over a decade
- As VP and Publisher of Eagle Financial Publications, a subsidiary of NASDAQ-listed Salem Media Group, Michalski has been the named spokesperson and quoted executive in multiple official BusinessWire press releases filed between 2015 and 2025, covering acquisitions of DividendInvestor.com, TradersCrux, Intelligence Report, Hilary Kramer’s services, George Gilder’s products, and Jim Fink’s investment services. These are verifiable public record documents. [https://investor.salemmedia.com]
- 4. Role and significance
- Michalski has led Eagle Financial Publications for over 20 years, growing it into one of the largest financial newsletter operations in the U.S. with 230,000+ subscribers under a publicly traded parent company. His role is comparable to other publishing executives who have established Wikipedia articles. I’m actively working to strengthen the article’s sourcing and am open to feedback on how to improve it rather than deletion. Stubbing or a cleanup tag would be more appropriate here than outright deletion given the verifiable public record of this individual’s professional activities.

- Strong keep - The nomination appears pretty conclusory to me. They just lump the sources together as "plenty of NEWSORGINDIA" without actually showing why the reliable independent sources in the article don't satisfy WP:GNG requirements. Just dropping "NEWSORGINDIA" isn't enough to prove someone isn't notable. In the article, there is good independent coverage from outlets like The Hindu, The Indian Express, India Today, Cinema Express, Hindustan Times. And on the day of release of subject's new movie, just after this nomination, reviews came for Srinivasa Mangapuram and reviews on her acting in Azaad were already there before this, sources of reviews talk about subject's performance. Sources like ANI or basic press releases can be removed or replaced as @Honeybrowneyes has raised concerns about it but that's just normal cleanup and editing procedure, basically pages keep on improving in wikipedia all the time, it doesn't mean the whole article fails GNG. Nominator mentioned WP:NACTOR might apply but doesn't explain why an actress who landed credited major roles in two notable movies, complete with independent review of Azaad (second movie reviews came after nomination), somehow misses the bar. I have removed the NDTV source already, and editors can clean up the weaker or promotional links (if they think any such type sources exist), but the actual independent coverage is more than enough to keep the article. - I agree with some of your sourcing concerns. I've already removed the NDTV web story, and I have no objection to replacing ANI or other routine or promotional references where stronger sources are available. On the other hand, I don't think those issues, by themselves, demonstrate that the subject fails WP:GNG, if that's the reason why you're leaning towards delete. Nominating for deletion under WP:GNG and WP:MUSICIAN. The article fails to demonstrate significant, independent, non-trivial coverage in reliable secondary sources. I propose merging to Urban agglomerations in India because of WP:NOTDB. A cut-off at a million is chosen for no set reason, and there is nothing encyclopedic about collecting a set of items based on a certain characteristic. The cited content in the Census section does not directly mention the topic of the article. HerrHeulsuse (talk) 12:39, 29 July 2026 (UTC)

- Dude, it's perfectly acceptable to have an arbitary cut-off! Urban agglomerations in India has a cut-off of 100 places for no set reason! List of United States cities by population has a cut-off of 100,000, it's totally discretionary by article and these are all absolutely encyclopedic! We tend not to include whatever threshold the list uses in the title but come on... However unlike your other nominations these do actually overlap so a merge would be appropriate IF you merge the areas and whatever else is not already there. Reywas92Talk 15:46, 29 July 2026 (UTC)

- This seems to be like a WP:ALLORNOTHING argument. Population lists are not WP:NOTDB unless it lists down an entire census file as is. However, the articles can be considered for merging as there are similarities to both and as there is information in List of million-plus urban agglomerations in India that is not there in Urban agglomerations in India. Per WP:NOTDB and WP:NOTSTATS, this should be deleted. This is the type of things you would find in a statistics website, not on Wikipedia. Anything encyclopedic about the population of India can be put in that article. The fact that other pages also break Wikipedia policy is not a strong reason to keep it. - Keep Wikipedia has plenty of statistics and this is fine. It's just a subset that extends List of cities in India by population. NOTSTATS says "Statistics that lack context or explanation can reduce readability and may be confusing" – nothing here is unreadable or confusing. It says "statistics should be placed in tables to enhance readability" – this is a table. There's also no other list of towns in India on Wikipedia so the suggestion to merge to India is baffling. If you can show me that these places are listed for each state that would be better. Reywas92Talk 14:18, 29 July 2026 (UTC)

- I've added five additional independent, reliable secondary sources (The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline ×2, Assignment X, Give Me My Remote) that verify Miller's career as creator/showrunner of Forever (ABC) and Lethal Weapon (Fox), his overall deal with Warner Bros. Television, and his current work as co-showrunner of Ride or Die (2026). This should address the WP:NBIO concern. LenaKlif (talk) 17:14, 29 July 2026 (UTC)

Comment: A show runner or producer is not automatically notable. The additional sources do not rise above the HEY barrier. This person has an extremely common name, and when I searched, I found a dozen other people with similar names. There are many different people who are two degrees away from me on LinkedIn alone. Can the proponents, who have the burden of proof share their three best sources? Otherwise, it could be deleted by default. Bearian (talk) 20:32, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Bearian: Happy to share specific sources, since a common name is a fair concern here. These all identify this specific Matt Miller by context (creator/showrunner of Lethal Weapon) rather than just listing his name in passing:
- 1. Deadline (Aug 2018) — exclusive interview where Deadline identifies him as "Lethal Weapon developer/executive producer/showrunner Matt Miller" and quotes him at length on the Season 3 casting process.
- 2. UPI (Feb 2019) — independent wire report identifying him as "the creator, executive producer and showrunner of Fox's Lethal Weapon television series," with original quotes from a TCA press event.
- 3. Variety (Aug 2019) — exclusive report on his overall deal with Warner Bros. Television and a new project ("Dead Eddie"), confirming his ongoing standing as a working showrunner beyond Lethal Weapon.
- There's also a fourth: TV Insider (Jul 2018), a standalone Q&A interview identifying him by name and role, and a fifth from Deadline (Feb 2019) covering the show's future under his leadership.
- None of these are passing mentions — each is centered on him specifically as the person driving decisions on the show, over a sustained period (2018–2019), from multiple independent outlets. Combined with the Hollywood Reporter piece on his overall deal renewal and the Deadline coverage of Ride or Die (2026), I think this satisfies WP:NBASIC's "multiple, independent, reliable" bar. Happy to add these directly to the article if that helps. LenaKlif (talk) 18:32, 2 August 2026 (UTC)

Strong Keep – The subject appears to satisfy the requirements of WP and WP:ARTIST. There are multiple reliable, independent secondary sources that provide significant coverage of the artist and his work, beyond routine mentions or primary sources.
Examples of significant coverage from reliable sources include:
Multifarious Impressions of Ananta Mandal – The Times of India. Capturing Landscapes on His Canvas – The Times of India. Treat for the senses – Millennium Post. Rich Canvases Saturate Watercolor Event – Houston Chronicle, which discusses Ananta Mandal's award-winning work at the Watercolor Art Society–Houston exhibition.
Ananta Mandal: The monsoon muse - painting rain soaked realities – Astaguru. The subject's artworks have been auctioned and exhibited by AstaGuru, one of India's leading fine art auction houses, further demonstrating recognition within the professional art community.
The subject has also held multiple solo exhibitions at established art institutions, including Jehangir Art Gallery, Nehru Centre, and Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, demonstrating sustained professional recognition.
The article also documents awards and recognitions from established organizations, including the Bombay Art Society, AIFACS, Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, Government College of Art & Craft, The San Diego Watercolor Society, The Watercolor Art Society-Houston and the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies.
Taken together, these independent sources and achievements demonstrate that the subject has received significant coverage and satisfies Wikipedia's notability requirements.
This is the article's 3rd AfD nomination. Unless substantial new evidence or policy-based arguments have been presented that were not considered in the previous discussions, repeated nominations may be unnecessary. Based on the available evidence, I support keeping the article. If consensus is to keep, the AfD templates should be removed following the close of this discussion. - Delete. I see this has been withdrawn, but as I created a source assessment last night, I'd like to add it here as part of the record.
It looks like this watercolorist has won a handful of regional watercolor awards and has had reviews in The Times of India , Bombay Times, The Indian Express, Hindustan Times, and the Afternoon Despatch & Courier see (Wikipedia:NEWSORGINDIA). 3 of the articles are "reviews" of the Nehru Centre Art Gallery GROUP exhibit in 2011. There is no particular notability for the Nehru Centre Art Gallery exhibition. The issue seems for be whether multiple mentions in borderline publications adds up to "significant coverage". Same with the regional "awards". Do multiple regional awards adds up to a significant award? In the previous AFD discussions, the quality of the sources is never convincingly presented. That is why the article keeps getting nominated for deletion. This artist does not meet WP:NARTIST. He has not been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, or won significant critical attention, or been represented within the permanent collections of any notable galleries or museums. I would argue that is is time for this article to go. The sum of the sources do not add up to notable. I think mine is a substantial policy-based argument. WP:TOOSOON. Strong keep – clearly notable – As with very strong independent sources the artist is meet clearly notable WP:NARTIST. More than 12 years after the article was created, it remains well sourced and supported by significant independent coverage, many significant shows, multiple significant all India and International Juried art shows awards, satisfying GNG. Based on the available sourcing and the outcomes of the previous two AfD discussions, I do not see a policy-based justification for deletion.
I'm not sure why this article is being nominated for AfD for a third time, as I don't see any new policy-based evidence showing that the subject no longer meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines. However the deletion has been withdrawn.

Seems like a nice enough human, but only notable for being commissioner of this (minor) state agency. Majority of the article (much of which has since been trimmed) was only sourced from his obituary, which appears to be the primary source of biographical information. Other sources are just passing mention in government documents or minor local media. Seems a clear case of WP:1E, with no other WP:SIGCOV. ZimZalaBimtalk 16:22, 27 July 2026 (UTC)

Previously deleted in 2016, reinstated in 2017, has had a {{refimprove}} ever since. Of the three sources:
- Behind the Voice Actors. Reliable per WP:BTVA, which also says
coverage is routine and does not contribute to notability.
- Bustle. No consensus on reliability per WP:BUSTLE.
- Hello Magazine. Possibly reliable, but very sparse.
So that's one source that's routine coverage, one that's uncertain, and one that might be reliable but still says very little about the subject.
A WP:BEFORE for "Daniel Tay" + "Elf" or "Daniel Tay" + "Doogal" turned up only routine mentions of him as an actor in the movie, or unreliable looking clickbait "where are they now" articles from unreliable-looking gossip churnalism sites. This one seems the most reliable, but I'm still on the fence as no editors are credited on the site and it's more broadly a sports website. Everything else was sketchy looking sites like "Just Jared". As Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nick Spano proved, merely being the subject of a handful of "where are they now" gossip columns is not SIGCOV. He got no coverage for any of his roles beyond routine mentions of "Name of character, played by Daniel Tay..." Merely name-dropping someone as playing a role is not SIGCOV.
Suggest either deletion or redirection to Elf (film) as his most notable role. Ten Pound Hammer (they/them) • (What did I screw up now?) 16:08, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
- KEEP. Not sure what the reasoning is behind all this is. He was a former child actor who starred in Elf, American Splendor, The Magic Roundabout (voiced Doogal), and voice-over gaming work. Redirecting to one film (Elf) is not feasible. SIGCOV is not going to happen when it comes to a "former child actor" except on the "where are they now" coverage sites; which is still occurring for this BLP even as late as 2025 (People, E! Now, Celebrity Tonight, Celebrity News Today, Diario AS, Wales Online, Irish Star) . There is enough in this article for a stand-alone stub at WP. No, WP is not IMDB. Who said it was? and in fact, this article gives much more info than IMDB for this BLP. Last, if one wishes to "compare" article for article (Nick Spano), one only needs to peruse the List of former American child actors to see that Tay is in very good company to remain when it comes to "reason for AfD". - Keep. Passes WP:BASIC; independent notability is met as the subject is a primary focus of both the articles 15.ai and Voiceverse NFT plagiarism scandal, both of which have plenty of sources that are not currently used in the nominated article. The article is incomplete, but the problems are entirely WP:SURMOUNTABLE. –GM 16:10, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
- Voiceverse NFT plagiarism scandal is clearly a subtopic of 15.ai, I'm not convinced it needs to be a standalone article (at the very least it needs a hatchet taken to it to pare it down from 80,000 bytes). This is not is convincing case for independent notability. REAL_MOUSE_IRL talk 23:36, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
- What?! That topic is clearly not a subtopic of 15.ai. It easily passes WP:GNG, has WP:SUSTAINED coverage over a long period of time, has multiple sections and paragraphs that don't involve 15.ai at all, and has an entire Legacy section filled with WP:RS talking about how important it was in the general landscape of video games and NFTs. Why in the world would that article be a subtopic of 15.ai as opposed to, say, a subtopic of Troy Baker or a subtopic of NFT controversies? The article itself is GA quality, so I don't know where you're getting this notion at all that the article needs to be rewritten. Proposing that the nominated article and the whole Voiceverse article be merged into 15.ai is seriously baffling and raises the question of whether you actually read all of the article's sources in full (I did). –GM 00:18, 28 July 2026 (UTC)

Redirect to 15.ai cause there really isnt much to the article that isnt already discussed at 15.ai, tbh the pseudonymous nature of the individual is going to make quality blp sources extremely difficult and a lot of the sources used i think currently at least border on WP:BLPGOSSIP. i do want to also note an article about this individual was already blanked and redirected once before and i think the reasoning why is still a solid argument for the redirect today Ibnqirtaiba (talk) 14:28, 28 July 2026 (UTC)—

- Keep due to WP:CREATIVE #3, subject created 15.ai which has been primary subject of multiple international independent periodical articles and more. I don't see why independent notability is important that it mandates a redirect, there does not seem to be official policy that require this. We have articles Speechify and Cliff Weitzman, who is notable for nothing outside of Speechify. Arguably Weitzman's article should be a redirect more than 15's because 15.ai's reach was much wider than Speechify. Bronymike2010 (talk) 07:18, 29 July 2026 (UTC)

- @Issac I Navarro: I don't think a merge is appropriate here, as it would then be grounds for WP:SPLITTING again as the 15.ai article should be focused on the website. The Background section is already long as it is and largely focuses on the technology behind what made the website unique. It wouldn't make sense to merge only to include additional information about its creator irrelevant to the website when we could easily fix it by having a separate article per WP:GNG. Also see WP:SPINOFF for this:

- @Issac I Navarro: Respectfully disagree that a merge is preferable to a redirect. Note the above blocked confirmed sockpuppet User:Ibnqirtaiba removed over half of the content originally in the article, so its current state cannot reliably be consulted as its basis. With the sources above, there is more than likely content to be added back that would not belong to potential merge targets. WP:MERGE advises against merging where the separate topics can be expanded into standalone articles, and the sourcing presented above establishes that this one can, under both WP:GNG and WP:NCREATOR criterion 3. - Keep per above arguments. Subject meets WP:GNG per above sources, and WP:NCREATOR makes it cut and dried. Merging is not appropriate per GM. At least one editor has expressed intent in improving the article after the AfD ends, so redirecting is less appropriate than keeping. WP:NCREATOR expressly permits coverage of a creator's significant work, rather than requiring every article to be a conventional profile of the creator; particularly important in the case of a pseudonymous creator.
- BLP1E applies only when all its conditions are satisfied, beginning with reliable sources covering the person only in connection with one event. The cited coverage above spans the development and operation of 15.ai, the 2022 Voiceverse incident, and retrospective discussion of the project's influence. The sourcing signifies that this is a sustained body of work and its consequences, than a person briefly caught in a singular news event. Madeleine (talk) 20:33, 31 July 2026 (UTC)

- Ignoring whether the subject meets WP:GNG/WP:NCREATIVE, the point of WP:NOPAGE is that it is not always best to have a standalone article for every notable topic. In this case, if a reader of the 15.ai article clicks a link to this article hoping to learn more about the creator of 15.ai, they will be disappointed after seeing that it does not contain any additional information. However, there is not enough independent coverage about the subject so as to meet WP:NBIO, and I couldn't find enough independent reviews of the books to help towards WP:NAUTHOR. I have reservations about the HerCanberra and region.com.au sources. The similarity in publication dates (three days apart in May 2025), use of the same supplied photo, and use of some of the same quotations make me think that they are more towards the promotional end of the journalism spectrum than the critical investigation end. Possibly a case of WP:TOOSOON, but delete for now. Cheers, SunloungerFrog (talk) 06:48, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

WP:BEFORE search shows a large amount of routine coverage related to his work, much of it unbylined and some consisting of interviews. The sources are also very similar to the line of UPE articles that were previously deleted. I am unable to find a single in-depth profile on him by a credible author in an independent source. - Keep — I believe the article satisfy, and has also been updated to satisfy WP:GNG and address all concerns regarding promotional tone. The subject has received significant, multi-source independent coverage in national and entertainment media detailing his career as a lyricist and producer. The following high-quality secondary references have been integrated:
- Suchana Prabhab — National media coverage highlighting his role as the Creative Producer for the crime series Aarati.
- Celebrity Nepal (English Edition) and Celebrity Nepal (Nepali Edition) — In-depth professional profile cataloging his filmmaking career, production credits, and lyricist history.
- Kalika Khabar — Independent feature covering his work on the multilingual feature film Prativairam.
- Suchana Prabah — Secondary media coverage tracking his cross-border digital content and music video productions.

- Comment: for clarity, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Princess Olga of Hanover (b. 1958) was for someone else with this title (as the disambiguation shows, that one was born in 1958; the current subject died that year). At one point, a previous iteration of this article (after the first deletion in 2020, a 2024 recreation was quickly G4'd) was actually called Princess Olga of Hanover (1884–1958) instead in deference to the other one (which, to add to the confusion, was the original article at this title, before the existence of articles for both necessitated disambiguation in 2008). No opinion on any of this. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 16:54, 26 July 2026 (UTC)

- If that is the best argument for keeping the article, th article should be deleted. We have a guideline, WP:INVALIDBIO, which clearly states that A being related to someone notable "is not a reason for a standalone article on A". If she did indeed fill the columns of newspapers, please show it because that would be a proof of notability. Surtsicna (talk) 17:56, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I don't have access to hard copies of 19C/early 20C German newspapers! But, as we should all know, they are still valid sources. As we all also should know, royal families were a big deal at the time and "being related to someone notable" doesn't really apply to a king's granddaughter. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:19, 30 July 2026 (UTC)

The only new thing in this version is speculation about her marriage prospects, which was about as scandalous as she got. Thank you, UtherSRG, for the ping. Bearian (talk) 15:12, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
- REDIRECT - agree with Bearian on the target. Fails GNG and NOTGENEOLOGY, there is no WP:SIGCOV. - Keep I'm new to this so apologies for any misstep but I think it's useful to keep an actual page for this person because of the other people with the same name and title. It would be of use to any researcher or interested person to have an actual physical page with a photograph, (since one exists) in order to clarify and confirm which Princess Olga they are looking at, especially when birth and death dates are coincidental. It would send a clear message that Wiki has done its homework and isn't mixing up princesses or dates. Under these circumstances I think the lack of detail is not a problem and I agree that (rightly or wrongly) princesshood confers notability in most cases. ~2026-42636-56 (talk) 09:32, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

To be fair, this was created at a different time in Wikipedia's policy evolution — once upon a time, diplomats were considered "inherently" notable so long as it was possible to verify that they existed, regardless of whether they could actually pass WP:GNG on their sourceability or not. That's long since been deprecated, however, and now a diplomat requires GNG-worthy reliable source coverage and doesn't get an article at all anymore if he can't be shown to have that. - Got it. I'm moving into the neutral zone. Bearian (talk) 09:24, 30 July 2026 (UTC)
- Sure, it seems like a role that should be considered notable in principle. However, it is not a role so "inherently" notable that its holders would be exempted from having to pass GNG just because they existed — we've learned many, many lessons over the years about the kind of things editors try to pull on biographical articles about people, either to hagiographize or demonize them based on personal whims rather than proper sourcing, and the person's paid-inclusion obituary from the newspaper classifieds is not a notability-building source: an obituary has to be journalist-written content in the news section, not placed by their own family in the classifieds, to count as a notability builder.
So people can never, ever, ever be exempted from having to have reliable sourcing just because they existed as people with jobs — and as far as I'm concerned, "common sense" demands not keeping poorly sourced or unsourced biographical articles about people just because their jobs sounded important. - It's the search term indexed in reverse so you can see that there are numerous news articles that discuss him in reference to the Jewish Defense League prior to 2001 bombing happening . This was not even the only bombing he committed . I would not call that BLP1E. He also received equal amounts of significant coverage for being a murder victim; we can't do "BLP1E" if he's received significant coverage for two events, so even discounting the 1970-1990s coverage; it is not true that RS cover him only in relation to the plot. Also, he's not a BLP, so BLP1E does not even apply. PARAKANYAA (talk) 16:00, 22 July 2026 (UTC)

- Strong keep - He passes WP:CREATIVE through criterion 3 and may pass #2 on WP:ENTERTAINER, but I'm not sure that even applies for promoters. He's "behind" 600 shows a year. With little introduction, Austin-American Statesman calls him renowned. He's a legendary promoter!. Where do people go to when they need music news? Graham Williams! The ups, downs, and middles of his career are documented. Do note that all but one of the links I provided are from after the end of Fun Fun Fun Fest. He did well-documented work before and after. - Embyarby (talk) 04:37, 23 July 2026 (UTC)

The subject of the page does not fulfil WP:SINGER or WP: It also does not have coverage to fulfil WP:SIGCOV. I propose draftifying or deleting this because I do not see a clear WP:NBIO/WP:BASIC or WP:GNG pass. The subject is verifiable and has held NGO/mental-health roles, but the sourcing is mostly organizational profiles, affiliated/primary pages, press-release republications, conference material, and routine mentions, with little significant independent coverage of Ntulo herself. , some of which are from peer-reviewed academic journals. إيان (talk) 06:58, 20 July 2026 (UTC)- Based on my review, these all appear to be brief, single-sentence references to Taha, none of which rise to the level of SIGCOV. Khalitate (talk) 05:10, 21 July 2026 (UTC)

- Delete: Too niche? The sources provided are predominantly made by people of Arab/Islamic heritage or advocacy websites. The Guardian doesn't count as an independent source in such topics as well. He could have an article on Fandom, not Wikipedia. --Esperfulmo (talk) 23:54, 27 July 2026 (UTC)

- @Rainsage and HerrHeulsuse: an opinionated source doesn't prove general notability outside of a particular niche group. The Guardian isn't generally reliable. It's filled with erroneous articles. E.g. , debunked: . The Guardian can accordingly be used for light topics, not as proof of notability. Though, I'd completely avoid it when possible. - Muslims are 25% of the world's population-- not exactly a niche group. Your opinion of The Guardian is not the consensus opinion on RSN. Rainsage (talk) 22:38, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- Please, don't force the discussion somewhere else; no "discrimination" tone! Even if they were fewer, this argument is irrelevant. There has to be sensibility about finding a reliable source for a certain context. The Guardian doesn't fulfill this. --Esperfulmo (talk) 09:58, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
