Olamide Adeniran (born October 4, 1999), known professionally as Olakliz, is a Nigerian digital content creator and Internet personality.[1][2] He publishes short-form video content and reaction videos on social media platforms.[3]
Early life and education
[edit source]Olamide Oluwafemi Adeniran was born on 4 October 1999 in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He completed his secondary education in southwestern Nigeria before attending Graceland Polytechnic in Offa, Kwara State, where he obtained a National Diploma.[3]
Career
[edit source]Adeniran began publishing short-form video content on TikTok in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdowns, initially sharing dance routines.[3] In 2021, he transitioned to creating silent, non-verbal reaction videos.[3] He developed his video style while studying at Graceland Polytechnic, utilizing improvised props and recording alone in his room.[4] Adeniran stated that he chose a non-verbal format because facial expressions and body language transcend regional language barriers, allowing his content to reach an international audience.[5]
In 2023, Adeniran's original TikTok account, which had accumulated 1.7 million followers, was permanently banned for community guideline violations. He subsequently rebuilt his online presence under his pseudonym, focusing on reaction content and visual comedy.[6]
