Change Kermit Gosnell’s death date to March 23rd 2026 please. I’m his son who currently lives in Philadelphia. Also his wife Pearl Gosnell died on January 21,2019 at HUP in Philadelphia PA. If you look it up her death certificate should say around 11:39am. She had an aneurysm at the hospital around 11:30pm the night before and she was in a vegetative state until she flatlined the next day. I remember because that was the day Mahomes lost to Brady in the AFC championship game… ~2026-19853-80 (talk) 00:56, 31 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

 Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want made. Discourses on Livvy (talk · contribs) 01:36, 31 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Regarding primary sources.

[edit]

@Voorts

"A primary source may be used on Wikipedia only to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge." WP:PRIMARY

The Grand Jury Report does just that. Nevertheless, I am adding secondary sources to the section as well. However, the fact that the Grand Jury Report is a primary source does not mean you remove the entire section because of it. Primary sources are not banned on Wikipedia, you are supposed to use them with caution instead. DocZach (talk) 04:41, 10 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Verifiability does not guarantee inclusion. See WP:DUE/WP:BALASP. Summarizing the entire report without any secondary references is undue. Additionally, choosing which parts of the report to emphasize and summarize is OR. voorts (talk/contributions) 12:24, 10 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@DocZach: just making sure you saw my response. If we can't come to an agreement, I will seek a third opinion. voorts (talk/contributions) 02:21, 12 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I agree that more secondary sources can be added. That does not mean you delete the entire section. I will work on adding secondary sources over the coming days, I already have begun doing so for that specific section. DocZach (talk) 15:39, 13 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
You're misunderstanding my objection. Just because we can verify information does not mean we should have a massive section in an article dedicated to summarizing that information per the NPOV sections I cited above as well as WP:SS. This should be a paragraph, at most, generally describing the findings of the GJ and their significance in the case. voorts (talk/contributions) 15:42, 13 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I understand. Please give me 72 hours and I'll work on editing the article to fix it. DocZach (talk) 06:02, 14 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
@DocZach: any update? voorts (talk/contributions) 20:57, 27 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hello, yes, I have restructured the article and have added further secondary sourcing. I need help moving some of the sources over. DocZach (talk) 02:30, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
