Matteo Cichella (born 4 October 2005) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Frosinone.
Club Career
[edit]Cichella is a product of the youth academy of the Italian club Roma. On 12 January 2024, he joined Serie B club Frosinone.[1] He made his senior and professional debut with Frosinone in a 3–0 Coppa Italia loss to Pisa.[2] On 2 July 2025, he extended his contract with Frosinone.[3] The club achieve promotion to Serie A at the end of the 2025–26 season.[4]
International career
[edit]Cichella was called up to the Italy U20s for Under 20 Elite League matches in October 2024. [5]
Personal life
[edit]Cichella's father Luca, and his uncles Francesco and Ernesto Cichell were semi-professional footballers.[4]
