Draft talk:WebMCP

Conflict of interest disclosure and directory link

I am affiliated with WebMCP.com and therefore have a conflict of interest regarding its inclusion in this draft. The revised draft includes the site only in the External links section, described as a directory of WebMCP implementations and their available tools. It is not used as a source for the article or as evidence that WebMCP meets Wikipedia's notability guideline.

I request an uninvolved editor's assessment of whether the directory link is appropriate under WP:EL and WP:ELCOI. Please assess the article's notability separately from the proposed external link. Idan nekuda (talk) 07:19, 9 September 2026 (UTC)

@Idan nekuda Please declare your WP:COI correctly. I have left a notice your user talk page. This is especially important if WP:PAID applies.

Since this is a draft you may enter anything you feel is appropriate, COI notwithstanding, unless it is advertising. A reviewer will look at this impartially when submitted for review 🇵🇸‍🇺🇦 Fiddle^Timtrent Faddle^Talk to me 🇺🇦‍🇵🇸 07:56, 9 September 2026 (UTC)

Thank you for the guidance. To clarify my disclosure: I own and operate WebMCP.com, and I receive compensation for operating the website. I therefore have a financial interest in WebMCP.com and a conflict of interest regarding this draft, including the proposed directory link. I leave the article's suitability and the inclusion of that link to uninvolved editors. Idan nekuda (talk) 08:16, 9 September 2026 (UTC)
