There was no such "semi-autonomous principality". A sloppy translation from Tatar: Tatar: Мишәр йорты, romanized: Mishar yorty means simply "Territory of Mishar Tatars" ("yurt", literallly "house" has many meanings; in may even mean "clan") and even in these scarce sources nothing is spoken about any kind of polity. --Altenmann >talk 02:01, 18 July 2026 (UTC)

I propose a redirect or WP:SMERGE to DC Super Hero Girls#Toys because the content can be covered there (a lot of it already is when counting plot details). That article needs cleanup though. It could be discussed in Lego Super Heroes as well. (I proposed splitting the latter article though as it is already quite long and covers more than one product line). - Comment – All the searches I did using only "Morro do Diabo" are related to Morro do Diabo State Park in Teodoro Sampaio, São Paulo. Redirecting the sentence to Rio Grande do Sul state article could lead to a misunderstanding. Svartner (talk) 08:09, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- Redirect to Morro do Diabo State Park, would merge if anything here was sourced. Geschichte (talk) 16:32, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
Redirect to Morro do Diabo State Park as the more specific target. If sources are found they can go in that article. No, wait. These are in two different states and probably unrelated. I wonder if a disambiguation page is needed. M kuhner (talk) 19:10, 25 July 2026 (UTC)- The Morro do Diabo mentioned in the article is a hill in the city of Carlos Barbosa, but I only found one free-hosted blog talking about it. - Delete. It might not help that a lot of us on the English Wikipedia are from the West, and it's much harder to find Eastern sources of any kind if you're using Google in America. But I've met a couple of these "Miss" models at special bowling events in the small town that I live in, and they hardly have anything close to enough to write a Wikipedia page. So I could only imagine what it would be like for the same in India. Most of the sourcing is PR, a news piece, a blog, and official websites for models. - Keep Notability requires only that suitable independent, reliable sources exist in the real world. I went through the Russian-language citations in reverse order from 33 to 28, and found coverage from reliable Russian sources; it was mostly independent of the subject (some of it was based on interviews with the subject or with experts); the coverage was more than just passing mentions; and demonstrated that the subject has attracted attention over a sufficiently significant period of time (there were citations from 2022, 2023, and 2025). A major fault with the article is that citation templates do not give the dates and (where stated) the names of the authors. It would also help if the trans-title field of the citation template was also used. If there are Wikipedia articles on the publications, either in English or Russian, they should also be linked to because that helps readers assess their value as sources (the same issue applies to Indian and Pakistan articles). I have ignored the links to YouTube - they are sometimes useful, but not proof of notability.-- Toddy1 (talk) 13:40, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- Comment. I'm too lazy/busy to search for sources now, but the Azerbaijan transfer saga was all over the news and is well-documented on various Russian media outlet pages. This is just a gallery of five artworks which share a title, a lede section two sentences long and four external links. There are no references. The best use for this content would be as a gallery page on Wikimedia Commons. The topic is just a title given to artworks, not a discrete topic in art history about which a fuller article could be written. Ham II (talk) 09:03, 1 August 2026 (UTC)

- Comment: this has been tagged as a potential NCORP failure since April, so this being a separate article may not be valid. I'm not as convinced Pokémon Go is the right target, though, given that Niantic Spatial is result of the sale of much of Niantic, Inc., to Scopely, and the immediate spinoff of the non-games portion–which means the connection between Pokémon Go (which stayed with Scopely) and Niantic Spatial is tangential at best, coverage notwithstanding. Perhaps a merge back to Niantic, Inc. would be logical or due (certainly moreso than Pokémon Go in this case), but I'm not giving a formal opinion on that. WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 18:33, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
- thank you for the context, WC! I think a merge and redirect to Niantic, Inc could be appropriate, although it could get a little confusing with tense and clarity. - Oppose Pokémon Go is not related to Niantic Spatial. Niantic has essentially been absorbed into Scopely since last year. nianticlabs.com redirects to Scopely. Niantic Spatial is a spinoff from the Scopely purchase in which Niantic's IP and other services were kept. Courtesy ping @Jayanthkumar123: @Kailash29792: Why are you deleting a notable actor? Can you either keep the filmography as is or convert to table @Jerodlycett:? DareshMohan (talk) 22:43, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
- Keep - The nomination provides only a bare assertion that the subject fails WP:GNG and the applicable subject specific notability guidelines, but the article contains multiple independent reliable sources providing significant coverage over an extended period, including coverage from The Indian Express, The Times of India, and other established publications. The presence of a few sources that may carry less weight (such as interviews) does not negate the existence of sufficient independent sourcing.
- Additionally, the subject's career is supported by sustained recognition, including two Nandi Awards for Best Child Actor and a Government of Tamil Nadu Best Child Artiste award, reflecting industry recognition beyond routine film credits. The article documents a career spanning more than two decades across Telugu and Tamil cinema and television. Taken together, this satisfies the requirements of WP:GNG. - Keep This article covers the most notable investment coalition related to carbon dioxide removal-- after major tech companies such as Google and Microsoft, they are the single largest source of investment in the space.
- I reviewed the sources and claims on the document, and have reviewed the framing/language use: this is consistent with over 5 years of monitoring these topics. Yes it included AI text at one point in history, before the policy about AI text was in place. This is a WP:SOFIXIT problem if you think the flavor of the text is not neutral -- however, all the sources and the claims check out for me (with 20 years of work on wiki, and over 7 years working on climate topics). Sadads (talk) 13:42, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
- See the sector tracking data for investment in the space for my claim on single largest investor outside major tech. I have reread the article about 5-10 times now, and nothing stands out to me as either wrong, non neutral, or anything but factual claims backed by the sources, Sadads (talk) 13:50, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
- I will respectfully ask that you look specifically for claims cited to source A but only verified by source B. This is a serious problem with recent LLM and it is difficult for a topic expert to catch because every claim seems reasonable. However "this is supported by A" when it is only supported by B is still a falsehood.
- Would also be interested in an analysis of how the large block of text on dollar values of investments is not WP:CORPTRIV, and what are the three best sources for notability. M kuhner (talk) 15:51, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
- I just went back and double checked all the double or triple citations again (for at least the third time) they map to the specific factual claims.
- Moreover, the coalitions purchases/investments are covered in Bloomberg, Rueters, WSJ, and Anxios -- alongside ample industry or climate press.
- IDONTLIKEIT is not a reason to block the existence of an article, especially when it is at the center of an industry. I am not bullish on Carbon dioxide removal, nor particularly like Frontier as a company. BUT their investments are ubiquitous in this space, and includes a lot of money from major actors -- making it notable simply as from it significance as a funder. Sadads (talk) 14:30, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
- There's no IDONTLIKEIT here. This is one of 600+ articles with significant contribution from an admitted LLM using editor and I'm just working my way through them. Thank you for checking the sources, that's extremely helpful. I will let the AfD run through in the hopes of getting more comments on notability, but I think we can consider the LLM issue dealt with. As a consequence, many of these once-successful companies declined, became insolvent, or eventually ceased operations. Their fate is widely regarded by critics as reflecting the economic consequences of the policies implemented under the Islamic Republic. Shahnam K (Talk) 09:01, 17 July 2026 (UTC)

While going through the List of alien races in DC Comics during the concurrent AFD to see which entries actually have articles, I found several that don't appear to actually qualify for articles as they do not pass the WP:GNG, with this one being one of the more egregious examples. The only sources included outside of the three issues of the single storyline they appeared in are simply listicles or extremely brief (i.e. two sentences) plot summary, all from Comic Book Resources. Even if WP:VALNET was not an issue with those sources, they would still not actually qualify for being significant coverage sufficient for passing the WP:GNG. Searches are not bringing up any actual significant coverage in reliable sources regarding this obscure comic race - just user generated content on wikis or extremely brief mentions in plot summaries. Doesn't satisfy WP:NORG. Coverage in articles like [19] LA Times is mostly event announcements for local events; so this isn't exactly WP:SIGCOV material with proper WP:AUD. Graywalls (talk) 17:03, 17 July 2026 (UTC)

- Keep Inadequate BEFORE. Linked review is not an example of "event announcements for local events" but a review in a major regional paper, of which there are many others over several decades (examples)[20][21][22][23]. Several reviews in academic journals found at JSTOR[24][25][26]. A theater company is an artistic organization with a body of work and thus can also be judged by the WP:NARTIST guideline, which it easily meets. It likely meets NORG as well with SIGCOV such as this LA Times article[27].—BrechtBro (talk) 05:21, 19 July 2026 (UTC)

- It's a common sense interpetation the guidelines to assess a theater on the coverage of their artistic output, but I linked to an article with SIGCOV of the org itself in a major regional paper with national reach. I found that source and seven reviews in a few minutes. It's on you to do WP:DILIGENCE as a nominator, but you've mischaracterized both the content and audience of available sources. —BrechtBro (talk) 15:25, 20 July 2026 (UTC)
- "It's a common sense interpretation the guidelines to assess a theater". there is no SNG for theatre companies like there is for NBAND, so the current community consensus doesn't support your interpretation. Graywalls (talk) 01:28, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- Exceptions apply to guidelines and such coverage comes up frequently in deletion discussions. NORG provides a poor guideline for performing arts groups, the type of coverage discussed at NBAND (the most popular form of performing arts group) is instructive. Nevertheless, I've provided coverage of the company itself. —BrechtBro (talk) 17:46, 22 July 2026 (UTC)

The only reference not from the local newspaper is more focused on the structure/building that they perform in than the company itself. The LA Times may also be a "major regional paper with national reach", but it doesn't take much for a Pasadena based company to get into the LA Times- it's still the local paper. They don't meet any of the requirements listed on WP:BAND, but the primary reason I'm for deletion is that there is also no proof of "significant or demonstrable effects on culture, society, entertainment, athletics, economies, history, literature, science, or education" (WP:ORG) Sesamehoneytart 19:56, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
it doesn't take much for a Pasadena based company to get into the LA Times- it's still the local paper
, the first part of this statement is simply not true, especially for sustained coverage over 35 years, and the latter is explicitly contradicted by WP:AUD. The LA Times is the largest paper in California and one of the largest papers in the US, that SIGCOV is further supported by attention in scholarly journals and trade publications including The Hollywood Reporter.[29] —BrechtBro (talk) 07:05, 25 July 2026 (UTC)- I agree the LA Times has a wide reach, but the LA Times also serves as the local newspaper for Los Angeles, and a local business getting a space in the local paper should not be treated as international coverage simply because the newspaper happens to have an international reach. WP:AUD refers to the audience, but an LA company with coverage in the LA Times is just as likely due to ease of access by the writer than because it appeals to an international audience. Even the American Theater reference was written and submitted by an LA Times writer. Do any other equally well established newspapers or similar have coverage? Sesamehoneytart 21:57, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
- I don't understand what you're trying to argue, of course LA writers are writing about LA things. There's no requirement that a subject have an international or even national reach to be notable. The LA Times is also not a "local paper" just because it is geographically an LA paper. "Local media" is defined at WP:AUD in the NORG guideline as
e.g., the weekly newspaper for a small town
. It goes onto sayAt least one regional, statewide, provincial, national, or international source is necessary
which is a bar exceeded by this article. —BrechtBro (talk) 05:43, 26 July 2026 (UTC)- In short, correlation does not equal causation. To try another approach, as you said, /of course LA writers are writing about LA things/. One of the requirements of sigcov are that sources are "Independent of the subject", specifically "Independence of the content". I'm not saying the LA Times references necessarily are due to locality, but there is also no proof that local bias is more at play than range of audience. Without this proof, the GNG argument crumbles since the LA Times is currently the only significant reference supporting GNG. Do any other equally well established newspapers or similar have coverage? Significant coverage in media with [...] at least a regional audience (e.g., the biggest daily newspaper in any US state) is a strong indication of notability.

- If the building itself is used to justify notability, then the article should be about the building. While the building they moved into may or may not be notable on its own, that is entirely separate from the notability of its occupants. I can't justify a biographical wikipedia article because it includes that one time I drove a historically significant car. Sesamehoneytart 00:45, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
- I hate to OSE it, but this is very similar to the theaters and theater companies in Category:Theatre companies in Los Angeles. These aren't all the best pages, but most are adequately notable from local coverage of their spaces and performances. They're not just generic small businesses like restaurants; and the building is not distinct from the organization that built, manages, and performs it, they are integrally tied and sources about either the physical theater and and the plays that are produced there both contribute to its notability. The company does not merely occupy the space in passing, and your comparison to a person driving a car is simply risible. Reywas92Talk 23:02, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
- I think you're right about the car metaphor- riding in a car is generally short-term so it's not really a fair comparison. I don't think OSE makes the statement I think you intend it to make, considering that every time I've asked if a source is independent of the subject, I've been met with proof that a source is reliable- the LA Times doesn't exactly have the best reputation when it comes to editorial independence- and if there is confusion between reliable and independent here, it's likely occurred many other times. I don't think it's too much to ask for sources that are clearly independent of the subject to support notability. Sesamehoneytart 03:51, 1 August 2026 (UTC)

Five are from LA Times. One is an American Theater column by an LA Times critic. One from the Daily Breeze, a newspaper based in Hermosa Beach. One is an architectural magazine that does mention this group in passing, but is more interested in the building they happen to currently be performing in. Do we know for certain whether this company is featured because the paper found them notable enough or because they submitted press releases? Sesamehoneytart 17:39, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
- That is not relevant to notability guidelines. Note the link is specifically for coverage in "on Business by LA Times Studios" which is not relevant here. Press releases are a tool that organizations and individuals use to communicate with the press; journalists and papers routinely get pitches and releases. - If you do have evidence that money changed hands between A Noise Within and the editors of the LA Times, feel free to supply it. It's a RS that has consensus behind its reliability, so the presumption is that it continues to be reliable—many RSs have policies to allow for sponcon these days. That's also a completely different conversation than the original one of whether local coverage is more questionable than non-local coverage. The sources in question are bona fide (LA Times is repeatedly confirmed by consensus WP:LATIMES, American Theater and Backstage are both reputable trade magazines in the theater community).
- I understand that you're not coming to it with any ill will (and the article certainly could use work), but it's a very very odd interpretation of the guidelines. What isn't clear is whether or not the LA Times articles being used to support GNG are also independent of the subject, a separate requirement for GNG. I don't think that lack of proof on one side should be considered proof that the other side is correct. They do read like press releases, but as far as I'm aware, there is no proof for either side. - "《給自己的信》鐘舒漫轉型唱作" ["A Letter to Myself": Sherman Chung transformed into singing]. New Monday (in Chinese). 2009-10-09. p. P156.
From Google Translate: "Coming to the 4th album, Sherman has created more than half of her own songs, and her dance songs have been reduced by half, which is indeed amazing! The title songs include "Letter to Myself" adapted from Japanese singer-songwriter Angela Aki's "Toilet Paper", which swept the pop charts of major radio stations, winning word-of-mouth and highlighting her singing skills; Sherman deliberately chose more slow songs, such as "Heavenly Love" and "Hand Embrace", the interpretation is quite satisfactory; "Sister" and "Uninvited Guest" are completely different from Sherman's usual singing style. I always feel that Sherman still has room for improvement in emotional handling, and the upcoming unplug mini concert in the middle of the month will play and sing by herself, proving that she can dance, play and compose."

From Google Translate: "Sherman Chung, who is set to release a new album next month, wrote most of the tracks herself; however, the lead single, "Letter to Myself," is an adaptation of a Japanese song. Sherman admitted she was initially hesitant, but the record company insisted on heavily promoting it—and fortunately, the response has been positive. The lyrics tell a poignant story about failing to achieve a childhood dream; feeling grateful that she was able to become a singer, Sherman often feels like crying whenever she performs the song."

It turns out Sherman Chung has already released four albums, yet she has struggled to establish a distinct public image; this new record might finally allow the audience to see her in a new light. The themes revolve around family, kinship, and religion, allowing Chung to reveal a more multifaceted side of herself through her creative work. Keep up the good effort."

- Medium is not a reliable source, and I'm sure The Game Awards website will probably have something that backs up the award. Per WP:NACTOR, a voice actor would be considered notable if they've had
significant roles in multiple notable films, notable television shows, stage performances, or other notable productions
or if they haveunique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment
, and I don't see evidence of either of those conditions being met. I do not think A Taste of the Past is notable either (in a nutshell, I judge notability by the reception section, and there is none for that article) so it would likely not count toward GNG. Sadly I will have to vote delete here per the above, but may be open to changing my mind iff these issues are addressed. In solidarity, Gommeh (talk 🎮 sign) 16:27, 17 July 2026 (UTC)

[edit]- I first went to the article, after seeing the AFD. What luck, the first random source I looked at (currently #3, "gamehers") was a 404 "page not found". The second, lilys-world-xd-official-reveal-trailer, did not advance notability, and the third, "GDC Festival of Gaming", returned "Page Not Found". I had to start from the beginning and look at every source, looking for a solid two or three that advanced notability. That number is more that the straw grasping "one" source (A Taste of the Past) with multiple reviews" listed above in a "keep" !vote. Both GNG and SNG indicate needing significant indepth coverage in reliable and independent sources. (Raymond)"
From Google Translate: "After listening to this album, I inexplicably felt a connection to Sammi Cheng in her prime. Perhaps it's the similarity in song style—both are upbeat dance songs and mid-tempo love songs—or perhaps it's the similarity in vocal range, both possessing a powerful and textured quality. For a newcomer who debuted only a year ago, Sherman has already demonstrated her potential in her previous album, and this album, *Castle*, is about further developing her strengths. Singing upbeat songs requires not only a strong sense of rhythm but, more importantly, a layered voice. Because singing on a fast beat is almost entirely on the same scale, without layering, it sounds more like mumbling than singing. Sherman doesn't have this problem; you can hear it in the song "Just Right." Her voice is very malleable. However, her biggest issue right now is her enunciation and pronunciation; it lacks precision. I believe she will be even more perfect in a couple of years. I also recommend the tracks "Twisted," "My Youthful Ghost," "I Don't Care," "Billionaire Girl," and "Fortress" from the album; they're mostly upbeat songs, and he handles them very well. (Raymond)"
- "不同音樂與R&B交叉感染 鐘舒漫《Castle》" [A Crossover of Different Musical Styles and R&B: Sherman Chung's "Castle"]. The Sun (in Chinese). 2008-03-26. p. E4.
From Google Translate: "Like the previous album, this selection of tracks incorporates a variety of musical elements. The melodies mostly feature works by foreign musicians, seemingly aiming to create a non-Hong Kong style R&B feel. The opening track, "Twisted," is an adaptation of a Korean song, a dance pop with a touch of Ciara-style crunch & B rhythm—cheerful and energetic! The first single, "Fortress," is a piano-led rock ballad with a flowing and excellent melody and lyrics, showcasing Sherman's ability to handle this genre. "My Youthful Ghost" uses simple guitar accompaniment to highlight her vocal range and vocal range, while the richly arranged "Billionaire Girl" has a strong dramatic feel, but exposes her slightly lacking vocal power and emotional delivery. For a more sentimental feel, there's Chen Huanren's "Please Cooperate," Li Junyi's lyrics for "Red Tea Gets Cold Easily," and Liu Wenyao's composition for "Escalator," all with equally pleasant melodies and moving vocals. The latter, in particular, is outstanding, depicting a heartbreak amidst the rise and fall of an escalator. As her second album, "Castle" does indeed further solidify Sherman Chung's position, but facing singers who also have a tough female image, Sherman not only has to challenge the talented singer Kary Ng and the outstanding dancer Stephanie Cheng, but also has to defend against the imposing Lee Cheuk-ting. It seems that the record company still needs to deploy more offensive strategies."
[Sherman Chung's "Castle" is a Surprise]. New Monday (in Chinese). 2008-03-28. p. P176.
From Google Translate: "Sherman's debut album, "Good Girl," showcased her unique, soulful, and robust voice, though it felt slightly restrained. This time, "Castle" is a stunning surprise. Sherman unleashes her explosive power, and I especially love how she brings out her languid vocals, which, combined with dance beats or R&B tracks, creates a more alluring sound. The first single, the ballad "Fortress," is rather melancholic, but the effect isn't as good as "My Youthful Ghost," with its acoustic and evocative ending notes. The second single, "Twisted," truly shines, with a groovy vocal performance and commendable arrangement. "Just Right" has a touch of Christina Aguilera's style, with an overall understated and comfortable performance. "I Don't Care" has a "Let's Pop" feel to it, but the lyrics are a bit stiff; some polishing would improve it. Overall, Sherman's singing has clearly improved significantly. He should work harder to explore more possibilities next time and not waste his magnetic voice. (Lin Xing) Recommended songs: "Twisted," "My Youthful Ghost," "Just Right," "Little Miss Sunshine" Mong Kok Price: $88."

The review notes: "《Castle Sherman》。
From Google Translate: "《Castle Sherman》. Sherman Chung. Reading the newspapers, I learned that Mani, who has promoted countless talents, intends to make Sherman Chung a future queen of pop. No wonder, just from the cover and inside photos of the new album, we can see Sherman "lying down" in sexy clothes, showing off her well-proportioned figure, perfectly matching her spicy image. Returning to the songs, all 10 tracks on the album share a unified style, showcasing Sherman's flamboyant charm. The title track, "Twisted," perhaps due to its adaptation from a Korean song, has a strong Korean fast-paced feel in both its melody and Sherman's performance; while "My Youthful Ghost" is also written by the same lyricist of "Twisted," but the lyrics are clearly more thoughtful, and Sherman's performance is also captivating. Incidentally, Sherman, usually known for his upbeat songs, also delivered a moving rendition of ballads, with "Red Tea Gets Cold Easily" being his best performance, perfectly capturing the emotion – truly commendable! Sherman Chung has managed to stand out among newcomers thanks to both her dancing and vocal abilities; the distinct personality showcased in "Good Girl" (*Guai Nv Zai*) had already laid a solid foundation. *Castle* represents a smooth, steady progression. Up-tempo, electronic-infused tracks make up a significant portion of the album; whether through stylish arrangements or vocal delivery grounded in R&B, these elements are designed to instantly catch the listener's ear in today's market. Unfortunately, my work situation had changed; the days when I could steal a moment to listen to the radio were gone. I didn't even realize she was releasing a new album until I was interviewing her—I was so out of the loop that I felt a bit embarrassed during our conversation. After seeing Sherman off, I quickly did my "homework" online, checked out the cover art, and headed to a nearby mall to buy the album. When I put the new album, *Castle*, into my CD player, I made a habit of listening to the title track—"Castle"—first, before going back to listen to the songs in order from the beginning. I’m no musician—just an ordinary person who enjoys catchy pop tunes—and my favorite track is "Sunshine Little Miss." I suppose no one is really interested in my personal album review, though. Yesterday, while attending an event, she happily said that her makeup artist told her that her album was sold out in CD stores in the Causeway Bay area. She thought it was great news, but she was a little skeptical, believing that it might be due to limited stock. However, she was still very happy. When asked if she had gone to a record store to buy a copy to support her own album, she replied... She said, "I bought one copy, but my mother bought ten. Actually, she did the same with my last album. Many aunties bought from her, making her practically a distributor, a middleman for reselling records. But even the aunties think my songs suit them, which is a huge support for me." She added that she doesn't usually focus on album sales figures, but rather on the audience's reaction. Her biggest hope is that people think the new album is better than the first. She's been reading fan comments online for days, and they're mixed. Some agree she's improved, while others think the first album was better, but most people feel this new album is more appealing."

From Google Translate: "Sherman Chung recently posed for the cover of her new album "Castle." Her image director specially commissioned a sexy swimsuit-like top for her, along with a long, curly wig ordered from Europe. The makeup artist was also instructed to apply gold sequins all over Sherman's body, completely transforming her into a sexy, fairytale-like wildcat. Beforehand, Sherman ate oatmeal for a week, resulting in a weight loss from 105 pounds to 95 pounds, fortunately maintaining her D-cup bust. She stated that she posed in several challenging poses at the image director's request, and after a day of shooting, she felt severe pain throughout her body. In addition, Sherman revealed that she gave her first on-screen kiss to male lead Kenny Kwan while filming the music video for "Please Cooperate": "It was my first time filming a kissing scene, and I was so nervous the night before that I couldn't sleep. Luckily, my co-star was Kenny, and it felt great.""

From Google Translate: "Sherman Chung’s brand-new album, *Castle*, is released today; for this record, she continues to pursue a stylish and sexy image. As the launch coincides with spring, her image director specially commissioned several outfits to capture the season's vibe. One particular sexy ensemble gives her a stunning, peacock-like appearance. To ensure she looked her best, Sherman underwent a rigorous "boot camp" weight-loss regimen, eating nothing but oatmeal for a full week prior to the shoot. Musically, Sherman adopts an R&B-influenced vocal style for the album. Tracks range from upbeat songs like "Twist" (Niu Qu), "I Don't Care," and "Little Miss Sunshine" (Yang Guang Xiao Xiao Jie) to ballads such as "Castle" (Bao Lei) and "Please Cooperate" (Qing Ni He Zuo). Her vocal performance shows marked improvement, resulting in an album with greater lasting appeal than her previous release. Additionally, the album includes the music video for "Please Cooperate," featuring Kenny Kwan as the male lead; the video even includes an intense kissing scene between him and Sherman."

From Google Translate: "Whether as an entertainer or a singer, the biggest fear is being typecast. Sherman, who was labeled a "rock chick" right from her debut, takes a very different approach with her third album, *Thunder Party*. The 10-track album features an even mix of fast and slow songs, revealing that Sherman possesses a wonderful vocal quality for ballads. Beyond the two radio singles "Wild Lily" (野百合) and "Red Brick" (红砖), two other mid-tempo ballads—"Best Time" and "Eyes Don't Lie" (眼睛不说谎)—truly put her vocal skills to the test; such engaging mid-tempo ballads are rare finds these days, and Sherman’s performance is surprisingly impressive. She hasn't neglected upbeat tracks to keep her fans happy, either: "Shut Up" features a jazzy vibe, with a laid-back delivery expressing a strong-willed woman's views on modern men. Also worth mentioning is "Multitasking" (一心二用), which uses an R&B style to explore the perspective of choosing a partner. All 10 tracks are enjoyable, though if one were to nitpick, there is still room for improvement in terms of vocal abandon and the transition between low and high registers; the backing vocals are occasionally too loud, sometimes overpowering Sherman's high notes. Recommended tracks: "Multitasking" (一心二用), "Shut Up""
- "《Thunder Party》". East Touch (in Chinese). 2008-12-09. p. B92.
From Google Translate: "I had expected an album where uptempo tracks made up over 70% of the content; as it turned out, they account for only about 40%, which was admittedly a bit disappointing. Sherman is one of the few female vocalists capable of mastering a wide range of uptempo songs—she particularly shines with heavy beats—so high expectations were inevitable. Regarding the ballads: "Eyes Don't Lie" (眼睛不说谎), "Red Brick" (红砖), "Wild Lily" (野百合), and "Memories of the Breakup" (分手的记忆) are catchy, sing-along-friendly tracks that pose no difficulty for her. "Can Be Bought" (买得到) and "Best Time" are steeped in R&B vibes; Sherman’s ability to nail the rhythm in these tracks is truly impressive. "Eighty Commandments" (八十诫), "Tiny" (细细粒), and "Multitasking" (一心二用) stand out as her finest uptempo numbers—featuring powerful rhythms and crisp enunciation, they showcase her playing with the beat rather than merely chasing it. These are outstanding tracks."

From Google Transalte: "Sherman Chung – *Thunder Party*. Sherman Chung established a unique style right from her debut with her spirited vocals and repertoire. Her new album, *Thunder Party*, moves away from a heavy focus on uptempo dance tracks, offering a mix of fast and slow songs. The lead single "Wild Lily" (野百合) demonstrates her ability to handle ballads with deep emotional resonance, while her delivery of high notes in "Red Brick" (紅磚) is smooth and stable. She is even more at ease with the groovy "Can Be Bought" (買得到). - Oppose. Per WP:SUMMARY, the 2026 Iranian strikes on the Kurdistan Region is a distinct military campaign that should be covered in detail in its own article, with a summary and main article linkage in the broader 2026 Kurdish–Iranian crisis article. The strikes article contains extensive coverage and sources, and other actors, which would make the crisis article unnecessarily large and less readable if merged. By the same logic, 2026 Iranian strikes on Israel would also have to be merged into the 2026 Iran war article. PawWiki2 (talk) 10:13, 25 July 2026 (UTC)

Non-notable airfield stub with three primary sources, one of which is potentially dubious. Propose redirecting to List of airports in Chile. Danners430 tweaks made 17:25, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

- Would it make more sense to merge with Zapallar, the resort town it primarily serves? Sesamehoneytart 18:18, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
- I certainly wouldn’t object - I just feel it makes more sense to merge or redirect instead of just deleting. Danners430 tweaks made 19:02, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
- Update - I added a section to the town this airport primarily serves (that one needed some work too) but I haven't set the original as a redirect yet, considering the afd nomination. I also just saw this is just one in a huge list of nominated airports so I'm not looking to stir up that beehive. Just making a note that I moved relevant info to Zapallar if consensus ends up being delete. Sesamehoneytart 19:00, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, these were all originally part of a WP:BUNDLE where there was no consensus to bundle them all together, so I’ve unbundled them into separate discussions Danners430 tweaks made 19:03, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

Poor quality and largely unreliable sourcing. Insufficient amount of significant and reliable coverage to be notable. Go D. Usopp (talk) 03:15, 17 July 2026 (UTC)

- Keep. As the articles creator, I believe it should remain an article because its one of the most significant flight sims, and the most significant mil. flight sim other than DCS. So there obviously should be info on it here and it shouldn't just be a red link. On sourcing, having compared my article to others (especially in the flight sim genre) it is sourced BETTER than others such as SimplePlanes or something like Falcon 4.0: Allied Force because those use older/unreliable sources or are using primary sources (such as Steam pages), whereas this article uses secondary sources that are considered reliable (for example I have definitely seen roadtovr.com used in other articles e.g. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown). Although I'm new to Wikipedia, it seems like your distinction of what is 'reliable' seems opinionated and not based on fact. If you have issues with the quality of the article then you can improve it, instead of just being lazy and deleting it. Thanks.

- @PrimevalTea Could not find any mainstream coverage of the game outside of the niche of roadtovr.com and similar sites. Falcon 4.0. at least has a reliable print source, while AC7 has significant coverage as a major AAA game. Remember, it's not your problem that a game has minimal coverage, it's the game's own fault. Go D. Usopp (talk) 05:31, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Go D. Usopp You have a fair point. I reread WP:NOTABILITY and understand more now.. The 'reliable' aspect still seems debatable, especially around game reviews considering that reviews are opinion-based things so reliability on a per-site basis seems silly (I've seen some really insane takes even on 'reliable websites' such as metacritic). PrimevalTea (talk) 05:47, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
- @PrimevalTea Metacritic is sourced only for the game's score. Reviews are important not because of the point of view, but because it means that the game is well known enough to be covered. There are standards to determine which websites should be reviewed, because practically anyone can make a website and type the most basic ass review if there were no limitations. Blogs, YouTube videos and Fandom don't count for this reason. Go D. Usopp (talk) 06:12, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Go D. Usopp Thanks for explaining this. PrimevalTea (talk) 06:46, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
