Existing paragraph: Subordinate to Unit 8200 is Unit Hatzav (Hebrew name for Drimia (Hebrew: יחידת חצב)), responsible for collecting OSINT intelligence...

Request: Change "OSINT intelligence" to "open source intelligence" and only link to the OSINT page. "OSINT intelligence" is redundant. Mirroringhim (talk) 19:51, 12 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Description of suggested change:

"Occupy" could very easily be interpreted as loaded language; using "hold" would avoid any connotations and not fundamentally change any meaning.

Diff:

Former Unit 8200 soldiers have gone on to found and occupy top positions in many international IT companies, including in [[Silicon Valley]].

  •  Done. I went ahead and implemented this. While "occupy" wasn't wrong, changing it also let me trim the clunky "have gone on to" phrasing so the verbs flow much more naturally. Thanks for the catch! —Biosketch (talk) 11:31, 1 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
