Recently, an IP user removed the Cherokee name from the Infobox. I reverted it, asking for discussion in the Talk page before removing since it's been a long-standing part of the page. @BilCat came in behind me and reverted my reversion, but without actually bringing it up here as requested. They make a good point in the edit summary, that the purpose of the native name parameter isn't appropriate here, that it is instead for a place's name if it differs from its English name (e.g., Deutschland vs. Germany). I am in agreement with this, but wanted to raise it here for discussion since, again, this was in the Infobox for so long. nf utvol (talk) 19:08, 29 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

I would suggest including Dolly Parton in the music section. Born and raised in Tennessee, she is one of the most influential country artists of all time and has always maintained a deep connection to the state through her music, career and Dollywood. It seems unfair and difficult to justify mentioning several other musicians while omitting such an iconic representative of Tennessee’s musical heritage.
