Removal of Financial Times article

[edit]

Hello Avigail56, I hope you're doing well! Can you explain why exactly you removed the Financial Times reference? Mooonswimmer 07:40, 6 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

For some reason I remember that the site was locked only to paid subscribers when I removed it, now I see that it's not, I must have confused it with another link or I don't know what happened. Sorry, I'm returning it. Avigail56 (talk) 06:26, 7 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
No worries! Paywalled articles can be cited with no issues if they're from reliable sources. A lot of the best sources available, including those published in peer-reviewed journals, are behind a paywall. See Wikipedia:PAYWALL. The Financial Times is considered a generally reliable source. If you're ever unable to access a paywalled source in the future, you can try looking for achived links or using The Wikipedia Library. Or you can ask other editors for help on the WikiProject Resource Exchange. Feel free to ping me if you ever need help accessing any particular articles! I don't have a Financial Times subscription but I was able to find an archived version of the article that allowed me to read it in full. Mooonswimmer 21:25, 7 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
