- This article violates Wikipedia's BLP policy. It is poorly sourced (the Hind Rajab Foundation is 100% biased and the chair has been received military tranining from Hezbollah). It is potentially liableous. JerryJJJJJJ (talk) 23:15, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- I've removed the HRF citation per WP:BLPPRIMARY. I've made it clear that it is HRF making the allegations and not Wikipedia to avoid issues of WP:LIBEL. EvansHallBear (talk) 04:44, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
- Neither Middle East Monitor nor The New Arab are considered to be reliable independent sources for contentious claims, as per WP:RSN, so with those two as sole secondary sources, the inclusion of the HRF's accusations are a clear violation of WP:BLP guidelines. Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Aharon is clearly notable as a high ranking member of the IDF who has been the subject of significant coverage from WP:RS for both his role on October 7, consideration for chief spokesperson of the IDF, and alleged involvement in the killing of Hind Rajab. --EvansHallBear (talk) 04:35, 8 May 2025 (UTC)

In the "Gaza war" section, the abbreviation for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency should be spelled "UNRWA," not "UNWRA." Iceblock715 (talk) 06:42, 14 June 2025 (UTC)

Accusation of War Crimes and Legal Basis (Based on Wikipedia)
Lieutenant Colonel Beni Aharon has been formally accused of authorizing the intentional attack against civilians and medical personnel—actions that have prompted a legal complaint against him at the international level.
The main accusation is related to the killing of five-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab and members of her family, which occurred on January 29, 2024, in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza during the Israeli invasion. Aharon is identified as the commander of the 401st Armored Brigade involved in the incident.
Illegality Founded on Legal Texts
The illegality of the actions is based on a war crimes complaint filed with the International Criminal Court (ICC) by the Hind Rajab Foundation on May 3, 2025.
The basis for this complaint, derived from the information gathered, is that Aharon's actions constituted the deliberate targeting of civilians and medical personnel (deliberate targeting of civilians and medical personnel), which is a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
The alleged acts include:
Attack on a Civilian Vehicle: The attack on Hind’s family car, who were attempting to flee, resulted in the killing of six family members. Attack on Medical Personnel: The subsequent targeting and destruction of a Palestinian Red Crescent ambulance, dispatched to rescue Hind, resulted in the killing of the two paramedics on board.
Investigations, including one by Forensic Architecture, concluded that the vehicle was struck by hundreds of bullets at close range and that the ambulance was hit by a tank-fired shell. Filing a war crimes complaint with the International Criminal Court legally underscores that the intentional targeting of civilian population and health personnel is incompatible with international laws and conventions.INVESTIGATION
