Source assessment for NCORP

[edit]

Following the decline by ClaudineChionh, the draft has been rewritten for tone (awards removed from lead, promotional framing removed, balancing critique from judges added) and I am setting out the three sources I believe carry WP:NCORP, separate from routine coverage:

  1. Business Travel News, "BTN Tech Profile: Acai" (Sept. 18, 2025) — bylined feature by staff reporter Michael B. Baker; in-depth, independent editorial profile of the company's technology and business model. Significant, independent, reliable, secondary.
  2. The Company Dime, "World Travel Inc. Gets Productivity Boost From New AI Firm Acai Travel" (July 3, 2024) — bylined reporting by Jay Campbell (co-founder of The Company Dime, former BTN editorial director) on an independent customer's deployment and expected results. Subscription outlet with editorial oversight; WP:PAYWALL applies. Not a product launch or funding announcement.
  3. Business Travel News / BTN Europe, "Acai Travel Wins BTS Europe Innovation Faceoff" (June 24, 2026) — editorial coverage of an independently judged competition, including the judging panel's substantive commentary and criticism of the product.
  4. The Business Travel Magazine, "In conversation with... Riccardo Vittoria" (July 28, 2026) — bylined profile by journalist Bev Fearis with independent editorial framing of the company's history, market position, and customers. Interview-based, so cited for the editorial content rather than the subject's own statements, per WP:ORGIND.

Supporting (facts, not notability): PhocusWire coverage of seed funding, the Amadeus Ventures investment, the TravelTech Show Trailblazer Award, and Phocuswright Launch; The Company Dime on Direct Travel's vendor selection (Aug. 2026); The Business Travel Magazine on the Lufthansa City Center International partnership (May 2026); BTN on the Lumo integration (April 2026); Skift, PhocusWire and BTN Europe coverage (2019–2020) of the founders' prior company, 30SecondsToFly, included for background only per WP:INHERITORG.

I have a disclosed conflict of interest (WP:PAID disclosure on my user page) and welcome any trimming reviewers consider appropriate. NYC2TLV (talk) 18:26, 7 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
