Chatbots and LLMs often use three backticks (```), a Markdown syntax for a codeblock, to wrap a block of text in a specific computer language, in this case being Wikitext. This can result in the user copying the leading ```wiki, trailing ```, or both.

Sometimes the leading ```wiki will have an id parameter after the language identifier:

The trailing ``` marker is more often seen, probably because it is easier for the user to miss. Sometimes the leading marker does not include an language identifier wiki, or a different language identifier is used.
