New page reviewer

I have now done quite a lot on AFC and reviewed quite a few articles, showing that I understand content policies. Furthermore, if you look at my interactions, you can see that I have always acted civilly and resolved any disputes. From my Counter Vandalism Work, you can see that I always inform a user when I revert their edit; the same happens with AFC (through the AFC helper).
I would primarily like this role as a counter-vandalism tool so that I can remove pages that are obviously vandalism, as I think that this is an important thing to do. I would also review other pages in order to help ease the backlog.
I would finally like to thank anyone who reviews this request.
Cheers,

- @Rosguill I am very sorry to disturb you. I am just re-reading your message, I would just like to clarify one thing. When you say based on my AFC track record, have I made any mistakes there (just in the context of the wording) and if so, could you please tell me where in order for me to improve?
- Thanks so much and I really appreciate the time. Equivalent-Text2598 (talk) 21:03, 2 October 2026 (UTC)
- It wasn’t in response to any mistake, but I would normally expect more AFD or article creation experience from applicants. Your AFC experience made up for that. signed, Rosguill talk 02:45, 3 October 2026 (UTC)

hi, I would like to renew my NPP rights witch are about to expire. Different articles were reviewed over the last month, often after I added additional refs, images, or added/rephrased some text. After my adjustments, a few articles also got reviewed... by others :o) _regards Haggis MacHaggis (talk) 18:29, 28 September 2026 (UTC)

- Haggis MacHaggis, can you comment on your reviews of 418 (film), Sleepwalk (album), The Legend (2005 film), The Tank Man (2004), Dead Company, Sky Scrappers? signed, Rosguill talk 14:04, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
- hi, regarding my reviews, in hindsight...
- • 418 is based entirely on trailer coverage/promotional sites, not the film -> independent reviews/critics should be added, among others.
- • Sleepwalk lacks extra independent sources + 3 of the 6 refs all link to AllMusic... -> Again, extra reviews (that discuss the album) should be added here -if available...
- • The Legend and The Tank Man both have production company sources: not neutral. The Legend also lacks extra reliable independent sources.
- To my opinion :o)
- • Dead Company and Sky Scrappers were already reviewed in August. The first one was discussed earlier: too many sources based on the same press release, yet the "reviewed" status was not removed afterwards... Sky Scrappers appears notable, but the article needs expanding.
- In summary, most articles should have had additional neutral sources ...

My NPP perm expired, and I would like to renew it.
As an aside: I just noticed that I don't have a Draftify log properly set up, so I'll fix that. While I had temporary NPP rights, I draftified one article (see: ). Another editor helpfully demonstrated that the old page needs to be deleted after draftifying (per WP:CSD#R2), which I'll do myself next time. — Chao Garden 🌱 ~ say hello 01:05, 1 October 2026 (UTC)

I had been granted NPP in the past so that I may serve in the September 2026 Backlog Drive. I am re-requesting NPP permissions so that I may continue working on the NPP queue. I quite enjoyed my time working on the backlog drive, and got a good number of reviews done. I am also currently an AfC reviewer, and have worked on a large number of articles within the AfC queue. Thanks in advance :) 「Norellia.sh」(talk) 18:16, 1 October 2026 (UTC)

Good day. My name is Critical Hippo. I have contributed over 400 edits. I believe I have gained sufficient experience to patrol articles. The exemplar article I'd like to submit in consideration of my request is TV Edwards. I believe this article demonstrates the high quality contributions I have made to the platform. I would like to extend my contributions to the platform through reviewing and supporting others to improve their contributions. Thank you for considering my request. Not done; you have just 211 mainspace edits when 500 is the bare minimum. The article you submitted as an exemplar looks like WP:ADMASQ and shows no evidence that you understand notability. @Critical Hippo, I'm curious why three dead links (, , ) were added as sources to this newly created article. What tools did you use to write and research this? Dclemens1971 (talk) 21:09, 2 October 2026 (UTC)
- I heed your point on the edits. I dispute your point on WP:ADMASQ. I will examine the sources in question as I was not aware they were dead, thank you for bringing them to my attention. I do not quite understand your question on tools? Critical Hippo (talk) 21:47, 2 October 2026 (UTC)
- @Critical Hippo LLMs will often pull dead links when they're used to draft articles, and will sometimes hallucinate links entirely, whereas editors who search for sources manually, read them, and then copy them into the article tend not to copy dead links. Dead links in brand-new articles is an indicator that an editor used AI to write the article. Dclemens1971 (talk) 21:58, 2 October 2026 (UTC)
