The Twenty-sixth Filipino Wikipedians meet-up in Metro Manila (Manila 26) was held on August 15, 2024 in the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Library and The Aristocrat Restaurant in Manila City. It started at 10:30 AM and ended at 03:00 PM.
The event was organized by the Pilipinas Panorama Community — a thematic Wikimedia organization based in the National Capital Region (NCR) of the Philippines.
Agenda
[edit]- Meet-up for snacks at 10:30 AM at Starbucks General Luna in Intramuros, Manila City
- GLAM-Wiki Event: Library visit at National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Library. The visit happened from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM. The attendees met and share stories with Ms. Jelomy Domingo (NCCA Librarian) and Ms. Delia Peregrina (NCCA Planning Officer II).
- The Philippine Panorama Project consulted cultural heritage references like the Philippine Church Facades and the Philippine Heritage Architecture for its intentional visit and data gathering objectives.
- The participants also visited the Luwas Exhibit (running from August 05 to 31, 2024) and the Museong Gumugulong inside the NCCA.
- Lunch from 01:00 to 03:00 PM at The Aristocrat Restaurant, which is a key figure in the Filipino food heritage, in Malate, Manila City.
- Meet-up concluded at 03:00 PM
