Description: Official primary horizontal logo of the University of West Florida (full-color version). This is the new logo introduced on July 1, 2026 as part of a brand refresh. It replaces the previous nautilus-based logo.
License: Non-free logo (fair use). This is the official current logo of the University of West Florida and is used solely for identification in the infobox of the university’s article. No free equivalent exists.

Article to be used on/reason for upload: University of West Florida – to replace the outdated logo currently shown in the infobox. The previous logo is no longer the official primary logo of the university.
License: [This image is the primary official logo of an athletics department. It qualifies under fair use because: It is a low-resolution graphic used solely for visual identification in the infoboxes of the main athletics department article and its associated varsity sports team articles. Its use here does not limit or compete with Southeastern Louisiana University's ability to market or sell official merchandise. No free equivalent exists that can accurately identify the university's official athletics brand.]
Author/copyright holder's name: Southeastern Louisiana University
Article to be used on/reason for upload: Southeastern Louisiana Lions — Primary visual identification in the infobox of the main Southeastern Louisiana Athletics article, as well as the infoboxes of affiliated varsity team pages (including Southeastern Louisiana Lions football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and softball).

File upload request declined. The current article does not cover the reboot at the moment, which would make the logo a "misrepresentation" of the article. If the logo should be included, please first expand the article to cover the reboot and then either upload the image again or create a new request here. File upload request declined. I'm going to bring this age-old FFU to an end now. As the DR was closed as inconclusive I will analyze it individually. I think the logo does not meet C:COM:TOO Taiwan and therefore is fully copyrighted. Furthermore an upload as fair use it not an option either as it at least fails WP:NFCC7 as there currently is no article that this could sensibly be used on. KFC logo 2026.svg

Description: KFC logo with refined Colonel Sanders and bucket used since 15 June 2026, designed by Jones Knowles Rithcie with typeface developed by Studio DRAMA.
Article to be used on/reason for upload: This is the official logo of KFC. It is requested for use in the infobox of the article KFC to identify the company following its rebrand on 15 June 2026. No free equivalent is available (excluding the wordmark only logo), as the logo with Colonel Sanders bucket is a copyrighted and above Threshold of originality in the US. The file would be used only for identification and would not replace the original commercial purpose of the logo.
File upload request declined. Given the history at KFC it is not uncontroversial which logo should be used. Please first establish consensus on a change at Talk:KFC since I can't upload the image without using it on an article straight away. Furthermore it's unclear whether the image can meet the WP:NFCC if the purpose to identify the brand to the reader can just as easily be reached using the free wordmark (A talk discussion could clear this up as well). Description: The original image on this article uses a PNG that was originally a JPEG, with pure white replaced by transparency. This creates bad artifacts when placed on a dark background. I've filled in the background with pure white and encoded as a JPEG, since the artifacts are already there, might as well also get the size savings
Article to be used on/reason for upload: To visually identify the publication in the main infobox at the top of its dedicated Wikipedia article. This is strictly for educational and informational purposes under fair use guidelines, and no free alternative exists that could accurately represent the journal's official branding. A google image search reveals that this image is used extensively to identify the journal.
The image is used to identify the organization Attorney General of Maryland, a subject of public interest. The significance of the logo is to help the reader identify the organization, assure the readers that they have reached the right article containing critical commentary about the organization, and illustrate the organization's intended branding message in a way that words alone could not convey.

License: This image is of a book cover, and the copyright for it is most likely owned either by the artist who created the cover or the publisher of the book. Article to be used on/reason for upload: To serve as the primary means of visual identification at the top of the article dedicated to the work in question (Sunday Nights at Seven). Any derivative work based upon the cover art would be a copyright violation, so creation of a free image is not possible. This image will be used only once in the infobox of the named article and for purposes of identification only. The use of a low resolution image of a work's cover will not impact the commercial viability of the work.

Article to be used on/reason for upload:Iconics. The image is the current corporate logo of Mitsubishi Electric Iconics Digital Solutions and is intended to replace the former ICONICS logo currently displayed in the article's infobox. Comment: I'm sorry but the image seems to be available under the ESA Standard License which due to its non commerciality clause is not compatible with our free licenses here. Where could it be inferred that this image is available under the terms of another author and B that that author agreed to release it under the given license? Kind regards, Squawk7700 (talk) 01:26, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Sorry me again: my first comment was not really insightful/ helpful at all - sorry for that. While we always try to assume good faith on wikipedia we unfortunately can't trust anonymous editors to be who they claim and have the right to release images under the license they are telling us, since these things have legal implications. Since the image is not yet under the right license on the website you supplied you would have to donate the image under another license. Please read through Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for how to do that. Sorry again and best regards, Squawk7700 (talk) 21:27, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

Hiya, So I work for TWS Group the publisher of Shooting Times and other titles like Field sports Journal and Gundog Journal etc..
I've been tasked with updating the covers of our titles for something more modern from the people above me. I'm currently in the process of gaining enough edits to do this myself in the future.
Whilst your correct it's the shooting times cover we as the publisher need it to be more current to stay on brand. I need to update the portfolio of all TWS Group titles going forward.
