Template history
[edit]The "most appropriate article" banner was first proposed in 2017 by User:Power~enwiki for Talk:Donald Trump. Since it was originally used for a single talk page, it was implemented using {{tmbox}}. Since then it was copied and pasted into a few other high-traffic talk pages. After doing something similar at Talk:2026 Iran conflict, I realized there were a handful of uses and figured it made more sense to have a dedicated template instead of copying and pasting for each use.
