No conclusive evidence?

[edit]

The lead simply asserts that there is no conclusive evidence as to the origin of the virus. Even if this insufficiently sourced assertion was true, it still has no place in the article. This article is about the city of Wuhan. Mentioning the fact that COVID-19 was first found there is relevant to the article. Asserting that we don't know the origin of the virus is a claim for the COVID-19 page, not this one. I understand that this is a powder keg, but that doesn't mean we throw out all standards, and allow politics to influence content. The reference needs to be removed. 2601:18F:4101:4830:BDFC:6E0D:9CAD:6572 (talk) 05:17, 8 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

According to the government investigation, the answer is no longer obscure.
