Surely, something is very wrong here. The mosque in St.Petersburg (and yes, that is North of Uppsala) was built in 1913. Surely, this one was built later? To top it all, there are now mosques in Tromsø and in Norilsk. The Norwegian one could possibly be ignored on the grounds of being small, in fact a gentrified version of the average garage or cow shed that often serves as a mosque in Western Europe, but the Norilsk one is really a nice building meant to be a mosque. In other words, everything said here about "the northernmost mosque" in the world is wrong. Of course, you could do worse: I found a Canadian article claiming ... Fort McMurray, Alberta had the northernmost mosque in the world. Reading on, it turned out to be a bit smaller than the one at Tromsø ... --Pan Gerwazy15:08, 26 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
